Anno, sitting at the captain's chair: "Sir! The radar, sir. It appears to be... jammed."
Captain Steele: Tastes jam. "Raspberry... There's only one woman who would dare give me the raspberry. Jill!"
Captain's chair better be a euphemism for dick otherwise I'm going to be very confused.
If so, I'm also kinda imaging that Anno feels a twitch when Steele realizes it's Jill they're fighting.

Now then we know psionics will eventualy be a thing but would it have any use in ship to ship combats? Scale seems not fitting unless we would have some bioship that is natural psionic user...

Yeah, instead of tactically controlling guys on the ground, you fly with up to four other ships on a variety of missions. I recall their being a psionic gun of some sort. Yep, the Psi Blaster. Can be used to panic pilots or temporary have them switch sides. Extremely slow firing with only maybe two shots before you have to recharge your beam energy. Considered an unreliable novelty weapon.

You guys are making me want to play XCOM again, lol. There was another good XCOM clone I played a little while back called Xenonauts that I really enjoyed.

Still.... being within face range with 99% chance to hit and then that 1% happens and makes the shotgun to miss........ these moments never cease to amaze me.

BTW just watched some footage and the old trailers of Dreadnought, and gave me a cackle imagining Steele to eventually pilot one of these things and accidentally plowing Jill's ship into dust.

This went went on another 10 minutes before Bess thought it has gone on long enough and activated the tractor beam to pull in the irate Jill Steele among the wreckage that were now roadkill (or is it spacekill?) on the undamaged and pristine hull of Steele's newest Dreadnought TITAN'S FIST after "liberating" it from some Black Void Pirates. A ship Nova Securities were more than happy to allow Ship to take command after the scion's exemplary performance and a long term contract.
Jill swears that she will get back at her cousin for this humiliation...right after some hanky panky with her cousin's dick...then back plotting and scheming for the inheritance and bringing her cousin to heel and treat her like a queen!

Tl;dr: Fen have created the ship-code, Fen have tweaked existing code to work with new code, Fen now need to implement content that's not been created yet.
