So, I was just wondering what everyone named your space ship. Did you decide it on something cool and clever, or was it some typical dumb shit?
I named mine Thunder Child from the War of the Worlds because I loved the book and musical(Except only the first part)

Anyway, what's yours?

given that the Sidewinder was presented as fast and stealthy, I decided to rename it the Zeitgeist. Usually I'll name my first/second ship the Longbow.

I named my Clydesdale The Bebop. Not original by any measure, but my mental image of the Clydesdale matches up.

The MS-XI I have on my trappy smuggler mouse is called Gunboat Diplomacy, the Clydesdale is the Breeder Boat, and the Casstech Z-14 I call the Camper Van.

I named the Sidewinder as 'Lightning Cobra' because I thought if fits with the snake and speed theme.
The Casstech Z14 I gave a much more meaningful name. I name her 'Santa Maria'(Saint Mary) because my mother name is Maria and since the Casstech Z14 was inherited from MC father(his mother has no role in the story sadly) it seems to fit perfectly. On top of that, Santa Maria was also the name of the vessel of Colombus so it is actually a ship name

I named my Casstech Z14 The Rustbucket. (Classic, I know, but also an affectionately tongue-in-cheek middle finger at Vic for giving me a museum exhibit to start with. xD)
I'll be stealing The Sidewinder but jury is still up on whether I'll be re-christening her or not.
