Sex based Resolve recovery

I have a couple of what I hope are simple questions, but ones I wasn't able to find an answer for based on observing several instances of the system in question working in-game:

1) What are the rules for the Champ and his companions recovering resolve based on sex scenes they engage in? Does it work based on some kind of universal formula, or determined entirely on scene by scene basis, and so inconsistencies might crop up somewhere - and indeed be intentional?

2) If it is the former, what are the rough outlines of the formula, and if the latter what are the guiding design principles for determining what sexual scenes recover resolve, to which participants and by how much?

It's seems to be scene-by-scene for the Champ and for most companions, while it's necessary to recover Ryn's resolve (which normally restores her to full regardless of how much she has left) because of her situation unless you give her the dildo or tell her to ask Cait for help, at which point she'll also be able to recover it when sleeping. A quick check shows that restoring Resolve by a flat 33 seems to be typical (of what I tested) so I'm not sure if that's the baseline and the exceptions are coded specifically or if each scene gets that aspect coded manually.
