Seasonal events out of season

The titles says it all, except for silly mode all year around content, is it possible, by changing the date on your computer and playing in the swf downloaded version of the game to get those events?
Because sadly I can't actually play on most of those hollidays and I think that applies to many people. And if it is possible I haven't been able to trigger them.

You don't even need to use the downloaded version. Since you put this in General, I assume you're also talking about CoC, but the majority of the "seasonal" events in TiTS are also available outside of their season, although at a reduced proc chance.
