I have no idea what either of these games is about.  So rather than clicking on potentially hazardous links leading to sketchy porn sites I've never heard of, how about you actually share what these games are about and what fetishes are involved so I can decide whether I'm interested enough to investigate.

I tried both of those games years ago. Nightstud has very very very small and generic sex pictures and gifs that really don't add to the story. It gets grindy and repetitive fast.


Scoreville is like a game that's mostly movies and gifs. When you play it, it's like a scavenger hunt qsp game. If you want content, it can easily balloon to tens of gigs on your hard drive.

Nightstud is bad. Scoreville looked promising with the editor but when I tried to make scenes I noticed how terribly barebones the game really is.

I tried to check out scoreville but it said i needed the 32 bit vlc player installed but i dont know where to find it.

I know nightstud games since the first one was released many years ago, it was a very basic game but back then there were very few porn games so it grabbed
my attention i gave it a try and somehow i got addicted to it!
The last one in the series, Nightstud 3 released a couple years ago, is much better, more mature and since i'm a sucker for this kind of games i got addicted again   :)  


About Scoreville it's more than obvious that it's a plain clone (and a weak one) of nightstud games, i gave it a try when it was first released but i couldn't play it
properly because of some codec problems on both my laptop and desktop, however i gave it a try months later with a newer version and it worked ok,
but honestly it didn't make much sense to be forced to download some huge 1gb+ of video files of some pornstar from shady file hosting sites that are a hassle and 
take ages to download anything from them, i spent 2 days to download just 1 video pack of 2 gb from one site. It wasn't worth the hassle since Scoreville had a feel of
emptiness inside without any kind of goals, so i quickly lost interest on scoreville, i know it's a free open source game but sorry, it's flawed and bad as it is.



I partially agree with OP, Nightstud is not awesome game but got me addicted and entertained for many hours, so it's an ok game, scoreville not really, 
i don't know where's the point in keep playing it, by downloading gb's of video files and without having any goals inside the game. My 2 cents..

This game is basically a compilation of porn videos taken from the internet and copy-pasted into it with the added elements of a life sim manager. I'm going to be honest - if I wanted to watch porn I could easily do so by opening another tab and going to my favorite provider instead. This idea of adding a bunch of loops for us to jump to (aka playing the game) just to get to the good stuff (the porn) could have been a brilliant strategy... in the 90's. Its kinda like if all porno websites now had obligatory long, interactive ads with Flappy Bird attached to it, or some other crazy game, before you could access the video.

There's a reason why people nowadays prefer animations or even some kind of art in these games instead of real life videos - because then it at least shows a bit more dedication and "soul" put into it. Anyone with minimal knowledge can steal a bunch of videos and glue it to a bunch of program lines and call it a "game". Getting some art and/or animations for it, on the other hand, feels less cheap IMO - though even that needs some thought put into so it doesn't look like plain plagiarism (i.e stealing art from famous artists and other games to be put on your own).


PS: I'm sorry if I sound harsh but... its just the truth.

I received an email from the Nightstud developers, they're selling the source code of some of their games, i think it's an opportunity to improve this kind of games, instead of just complaining, i may give it a go with Nightstudette since it deals with graphic generated characters, instead of real ones like Nightstud 3, and i already have great ideas in how to improve the Nightstudette game.

Someone from sharks lagoon forum suggested me this topic here.  I'm currently trying to create a small team to do a clone of Nightstud 3 and Scoreville, taking advantage of the sale of Nightstud 3 source code.
