I'm playing on development build 0.4.44.

I've tried to get the Scale Salve to be any other color but brown for one and a hafe days.
I spasificly saved before hand and got everything the Scale Salves would give me besides the lizard folk dick and I've load and used the item on repeat but the only scale color the item gives at this point is the brown nothing else.
I've tried changing skin color before hand to see if that works no change.
I've tried seeing if I change fur color and hair color before hand to see if that works no change.
I've changing my whole race to human first to see if that works and spasificly only using it on my body no change.
I've tried going to a whole new save fail to see if it will pick a different color there no change.
I've tried a whole new game and going and getting the item just to spasificly use it on my body and it's still brown .
So eather I'm doing something wrong or this is a bug or I have to be the most unluckiest guy in the world when it comes to random chance or it's just a bug for me eather way I thought I'd say something.

This is because the default scale color for all characters is brown, and the proc to get a new scale color from Scale Salve only happens if you don't already have a scale color that it gives. One of the scale colors that scale salve gives is brown. We might tweak this so you can get new colors even if you already have one of the lizard colors.

I would hope that you do tweak this, because this Scale Salve Scale Color transformation interaction (in its current state) doesn't really make much sense (in my opinion).

Also, a question regarding Scale Colors in general (or at least regarding Cinderleaf and Frostleaf):

If the "default scale color for all characters is brown" then does that mean that the interactions mentioned / observed in this thread are intentional? Or are these another unfortunate set of interactions that are occurring due to the "default scale color"?
