Old vineyards that presumably supplied the adjacent winery. Thanks to the dark, choked river that flows along its southern and western borders, the soil is still soft and moist; alas, noting wholesome grows there these days. The trellises have long since collapsed, but the plants themselves appear to have survived, running rampant as they cling to the marble fencing that divides the fields from the stream's bank.

Additionally at this part, "noting" should be "nothing"
