What is Currency of Damnation?
Currency of Damnation is a Visual Novel/RPG Hybrid where you assume the role of a new Demon Lord. Thrust into this situation by very unusual circumstances. And an unfamiliar world as the revival of an old conflict pulls forces both young and ancient into the mix. Grow your business from a brothel in the Monster red light district to a financial empire that will help you achieve your goals, All the while looking into the fractured history and hidden secrets of the world, The Dark, The Holy and you yourself. What will you find lurking as you peel back the mask of the world? And how much fun will you have along the way?

Current State of the Game
The game's initial release features two large exploration mission areas with associated quests events battles and more! Three hub/town areas full of interesting people to meet and perhaps get to know even better.
The NSFW content in Currency of Damnation is heavily cantered around non-human characters/monster girls – but there are human-on-human encounters. I would not describe the game as 'furry' But there are one or two characters that blur that line.

The game also includes a roleplay system for kinks. While no actual NC or Incest occurs in game such kinks are often explored through roleplay between the characters. Which the player can opt in or out of depending on their preferences.
Unique Game Mechanics/Systems
Exploration Missions
Instead of standard RPGmaker dungeon maps which personally I found boring and unrewarding to make and design I will be using what I like to call the exploration system. Characters will move through a set number of nodes triggering random encounters as they go. However these are not just battles! Anything from party banter to crafting materials to scripted narrative events can occur. Making each exploration mission unique. As you never know what each node will end up being until you explore it!
Crafting system
During exploration missions the player will collect resources that they can then use to expand not only their arsenal of weapons and armor but also their business by constructing facilities to automate the collection of more crafting materials or sell those materials for gold!
Business Management and Brothel sim
Crafting doesn't just cover equipment! Once the game is far enough along you will be able to construct buildings that either give you an automatic income of crafting resources or generate gold in exchange for said resources, Should you have them! This business requires some investment to progress the game. However if a player wishes to be rolling in money and crafting materials then time invested will be rewarded with vast riches! You get out what you put in.
Many monster girls you meet can also be hired to work in your brothel with varying but always pleasant results. Feel free to spy on them working over your customers if that's your thing or partake yourself!
Optional Erotic roleplay and relationship system.
The player can make decisions about whether some kinks are emphasized in erotic character dialogue and the game presents many opportunities for you to make decisions that increase or decrease your relationship to the many lovely ladies that you will encounter. Reach high enough relationship values to unlock repeatable erotic scenes.
However that's not all the game will cater to many kinks and sometimes a character will be willing to roleplay with you. The player can decide to opt in our out of this as per their own personal taste. Changing the dialogue in the characters scenes to represent these aspects of their relationship.
Minimum System Specs
While RPG Maker games have the reputation of being able to run on a potato, I’m using the latest version of RPGMaker MV and have pushed the engine’s capabilities quite further than most other RPGMaker products. Of course, if you have a standard mid-tier gaming rig/laptop, you should be able to run the game without any stuttering or issues whatsoever, but those with ancient potatoes may experience frame drops and encounter other problems.
So I’ve created a minimum system specs list, located below, to help people assess how well they’ll be able to run the game. (You could also just run the public build and see for yourself.)
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo or better
RAM: 2 GB (4 GB Recommended)
OS: Windows 7/8/8.1/10 (32bit/64bit)
VIDEO CARD: DirectX 9/OpenGL 4.1 capable
FREE DISK SPACE: 1 GB (In addition to the space needed for the game itself, because caching)
