I've finally been reading the sex scenes and paying attention to them, and one thing that keeps sticking in my mind is how you can report Riya's racism, but all it does is have her transferred to another station. What I really want is something like The Bitchening, where you can take Riya into your ship as punishment and train her as your slave or concubine, like Sera.

It also felt kinda... Lackluster to me that if she impregnates you as a nonhuman, or at all, there's not much to it, except for being impressed that you're pregnant and a line about human supremacy. It makes me really wanna have my Steele put her in her place by giving her half alien children, make her unlearn her supremacy.

People like this make me laugh. So triggered about the racism of a fictional character that they can't even take the time to make sure everything is spelled correctly. Makes me wonder if she would ever have even made it into the game if she was a white character... nah too controversial. Oh the delicious hypothetical outrage! A pinch of racism does add a particular spice to any work of fiction, but god help you if you can't really do anything about them!

I don't like them either, but I can spot troll characters at least and avoid them. Your life experiences or personal views does not give you the right to encroach on another person's freedom to express themselves, particularly their art in this regard, of which writing wholeheartedly is a part of. People shouldn't expect that every character in a game is going to like the player character all the time either. At least there's one upside from these sort of posts: they help in spotting the intelligentsia among the crowd of the challenged.

Meanwhile, I'm more triggered by people wanting to turn characters who have attitudes they dislike into sex slaves. If it's meant as a punishment, then it seems grossly disproportional to the crime. If you just want to see the character lose their attitude, and in this case stop believing that they're racially superior, while that is a complicated topic, I firmly believe that it is more satisfying narratively to have the character learn to change their beliefs over time through the player's actions - "be the change you want to see" so to speak, which also has the added benefit of allowing the player to have a tangible effect on the people around them.

I dunno, I just think that's more satisfying than "putting them in their place", especially when interacting with them is entirely voluntary and their apparant prejudices never overtly lead them to acting out against you. It's not like you get robbed or held at gunpoint and Riya let's the crook go, or worse, put's you in jail because you look different...she just says some mean things sometimes.

I would normally say that you can just ignore Riya, but to give Franks all due credit, they were fully aware of the effect that Riya would have on people. That's her whole purpose, she's meant to piss you off, to make you angry. And she does that well.

But hey, guess what, you can deal with Riya and in a rather fitting way. She's racist, or at the very least, discriminates against pure Humans. And if you play your cards right, you can get her transferred to a station overlooking a planet with a Taur heavy population. And while she continues to act as she does, its implied that she knows why she got transferred. She's not saying anything, but Riya ends up in her own personal hell.

i honestly like the idea, besides it doesnt really need to affect how the whole game is played, really underline main point of the game is SEX, not a pure story on ethics and morals its just sex and realizing u got enough kinks to realize u have a serious issue when u stop playing, so the idea of making a thick, futa, bitch cop learn a lesson on how good it is to get fucked by something like a horse seems perfectly normal at this point in time within the games current content. plus even that is just a choice in the game that the PC can make if they want to or not, no one has to make her a slave and if they want, can leave her as her old racist self if one chooses, but even i want to see the bitch get whats coming to her, doesnt matter who you are, where you come from, race or whatever racism is still racism no matter where its from, so just having her transfered doesnt fit the mold as fair, all it does is give her a chance to be racist somewhere else if u think about it, doesnt really solve the issue that some people have. does she piss everybody off, fuck yeah, is that her role in the game, yeah, but it does nobody no good if u cant deal with the one thing that pisses u off cause in the end she is still gonna piss you off when u walk by her.
