Hi! So, uh, I last played TiTS in late 2018, and there's been....well, some pretty enormous changes to the game since them. I'm feeling a little lost and wanted to solicit some tips and tricks, since you forum posters seem to have a pretty good idea of what's up.

Also, apologies if this didn't need to be its own thread, if I should have used the 'unrelated question thread' and this needs to be deleted I understand.

So, stuff that I noticed was changed:

1) Tease mechanics are reworked, it's tied to your libido now instead of being a skill that you can grind up. If I'm understanding this right, Sexiness adds a boost (Or penalty, if negative sexy) to your teasing, but tease based builds probably want to either get fabulously corrupt, or be Ice Cold and keep your Taint under control (be very judicious about what morphs you use, basically)

2) Spaceships are a thing! Space battles seem uncommon, at least early-game, and don't have much in the way of rewards, but maybe that changes as Steele levels up. More pertinently this also caps the number of crewmates you can have onboard at a given time, so you really want to pick and choose who all gets to hang out with you. Is there a good reason to build a battleship so you can kick butt in space dogfights, or do you mostly just want to fit your ship out as a party bus?

These are more just questions, but:

3) Are the hardlight strap-ons still being supported, more or less? I wanna peg people and It makes me sad when I go into a scene that has an anal option and then it turns me away 'cause I gotta have a dick.

4) Any NPCs or crewmembers I should keep my eye out for that where recently added or I might have missed during my original playthrough, particularly those who are okay with getting their butts pounded?

5) Anything you would want to tell a new(ish) player!

1. There's various ways to raise Libido. If you don't want to jack up Taint...

2. Yeah, ship battles are fairly new, they got added... about when Zheng Shi was. If you want to have all the possible crew mates (20+ at present), you can go ahead and use the clowncar cheat. Some followers don't take up room(Sigewulfe, Gray Goo Armor, Pexxiga, Varmit and I think Celise?).

3. Yes, more or less. Not all instances are supported though.

4. Olympia is down for ass poundings. Shekka can be recruited now, but will only take anal from a double dicked Steele. Or you can give her a horsecock and get ass fucked yourself.

5. Welcome back and have fun!

Thanks for the reply!
I'm going to try and avoid using cheats or save-editing (For now, at least). I'm stuck house-sitting and away from my usual game-stash, so I don't want to end-run the actual 'game' portion of the game.

Trying to decide who I want to bring back; when I last played I had a smug, blonde, twintailed, bottom-heavy little Tech Specialist (Princess Steele, AKA 'bubble brat', because she responded to most combat by sitting indestructibly behind her gigantic forcefield and wiggled her hips at people), but I also kind of want to try a male Steele to try out the Galomax Pill shapeshiffting.

That reminds me, there's a new Treatment variation, the faux cow.

But if you want to run tech, go Cum Cow and get the Cyber Implant that ups your Int and run around at 80. Charge Weapon will make everything get rekt.

Actually, tease builds don't need to get the Corrupt perk for maximum damage; Tease Skill (the stat tied to Libido, which improves accuracy and damage of tease attacks) is capped at 100, so simply maxing out your Libido without the Corrupt perk is more than enough given that Sexiness increases Libido by its value and max Libido by half that (Resolve boosts Willpower in the same way).
Ice Cold tease builds have a lower max tease damage than normal tease builds, but that's balanced by the fact that an Ice Cold Steele will likely start battles with much lower Lust and can thus take more lust damage before being defeated.

You can run away from all space battles, and the only battles you have a reason to win other than sex scenes are the one to get into Zheng Shi (which is optional and can be beaten with a stock Aegis MS-XI) and the three against Dr. Teyaal each time you return to Zheng Shi in the Sidewinder after stealing it.
A common build is to outfit the Sidewinder with two Missile Turrets and (optionally) a Hardened Systems to counter Teyaal's Shield-draining abilities, then fill in the remaining 7 or 8 upgrade slots with Advanced Crew Quarters; this'll give a crew capacity of 14 or 16. If you really want more than that, get a Clydesdale K7; not only does it have the most upgrade slots of any ship (so you can fit more ACQs on it), it also has an inherent +2 crew capacity bonus.

I have found that the Sidewinder liberated from Zheng Shi equipped with six advanced crew quarters, a thrust vectoring system, A thermal cannon, a machine gun turret, and lastly, a missile turret. To be completely satisfactory. Twelve crew I want. It Is also completely peerless in normal space combat firing full, devastating barrages for an extended period of time before a recharged is necessary. Only Teyaal's shield vampire even came close to putting a dent in it. She (the Sidewinder) hovers around 100+ for accuracy and higher for evasion. I have tried a coil cannon and two missile turret load out. It is effective, but no as much. You could elect to swap the thrust vectoring for hardened systems, I just prefer the former. I would have preferred the Sidewinder to have eleven equipment slots to its ten however.

is there any way I can do it without using cheats? I loaded up an ancient save from 2ish years ago and I'm currently stuck on a planet and have to kick out people in order to actually fly anywhere

If you fill all its slots with ACQs, you'll get a crew capacity of 30.

I would recommend starting a new character. I do so every once in a while to see how much new content has impacted runs from level 1 to 10.

Might have been enough time passed by now, but honestly, I just want to do things like I did with CoC and FoE. One single save and sticking to my guns. I noticed with TiTs that the more I start from scratch the less I care for the earlier content so I want to avoid doing that. That's why I originally dug up my old save.

Fair enough, you might want to enable the cheat 'clown car' so you can turn off the crew limit until you find a ship you like.
