Hi everyone. I want to present to you my game -- Forgotten Paradise.

What is it?
It’s an adult visual novel that will take you on an adventure. It won’t be one of those games where the protagonist is stuck in a house throughout the game (not that there is anything wrong with that). I just want to make it as adventurous as possible. Even though the main theme is Sci-Fi it will shift throughout the game. I don’t plan to have the game revolve only in space.



Story:
You play as a happily married man with 2 wonderful daughters. Everything was going okay in your life, until one day you heard about a paid social trip to space. You decided to try your luck and participate with your whole family. Making it through the end will reward you with a good sum of money that will help with your mortgage and most importantly, get your daughters through college. And to your surprise you got picked and not only you, but your whole family. On the day you're supposed to leave, you meet a strange man who tells you you're being used as a guinea pig for a test experiment on a serum that wipes out memories. He gives you a pill that will negate that effect. Although you are too late to warn your family you can at least watch over them or take advantage of the fact they have no memories of you or their siblings? The choice will be yours.


The plan is to have quite a bit of story and different sexual content. There is quite a few unique characters with unique morphs that only exist in this game.

Hey guys! Here's a quick sneak peek at 0.2:

0.1 ended with the Main Character being escorted to a meeting. That's where 0.2 will start.

All the sex scenes planned for the next update will feature only a single female character. HOWEVER, they will be different depending on the choices you make. Right now the plan is to have 3 different outcomes that will involve: Group Sex, Solo Sex, Voyeur/Nice Time for Roo; You will get to choose between those 3. I feel like I should let people decide what exactly they want to happen with more choices available for them to choose from. But as you can see this takes more time to develop as this could've been 3 different characters having 3 different sex scenes. I see a lot of people who don't want x or y, so I decided to give you the choice here and depending on your feedback I might do more of the same in future versions or alter it.

Personally I think the Nice Time for Roo will only happen if you ignore your wife too much and I find this game kind of likeable on the Nice Time for Roo side. I mean I usually don't like the "starting wife" so being able to ignore her without hard feelings it's great.

In fact true Nice Time for Roo only happens when you care about the character.

Also for me it seems that the experiment isn't truly related to the wiping out of the memories but more on the lines of "seeing what a person that maintains his memories would do in that situation", for example on the incest part, he remembers that they are his own children but will he lust over them or just protect them?.

P.D: Another important thing is that it seems this game will not have forced sex/rape/reverse rape. Personally I would expect that some characters, especially when they love someone, take rather... extreme actions if they are refused.

Excuse me the offtopic here, but you reminded me that games which the MC is trapped in a shitty marriage, and your wife is not interested, and you as player must (or not) gain points with her... IMHO, i can't avoid to see the entire game as pointless...

Let's see... a good example of that (if I understood right what you said) would be a game called "living with serena", obviously in games like that the main focus is to repair your relationship with your wife, but there are other girls that can be an object of temptation for you. Even in the non adult games we find a game called "Catherine" that actually focus on that.

The thing that games do are usually to tell a story and, in fact, what this game seems is that it will focus a lot on how different characters enter into relationships with each other (that's why the voyeur fetish I suppose).

In fact this game will be very different based on the way the creator takes it, from the description I take it that it will be more on the lines of a free-roam game, perhaps we will have a calendar and time of the day and we will be able to explore multiple places while having a dating sim part and events that influence it.

  More smooth animations! The last version had 2-3 frames, but now we are up to 20 frames per animation.
  Improved the overall quality of the images.
  Total new images (+the animations) = 209;
  Over 1,500+ lines of code on the dialogue part.
  4 different paths to follow with different outcomes/scenarios
  Reduced text length in the dialogue textbox as suggested by other people.
  The text in the credits screen now appears above Zoey and Chloe.

I was also curious if anyone knows why I am not able to edit the thread title? I wanted to edit it to 0.2 since that's the newest free version, but it doesn't seem to let me .

You can't. I think that only the mods and staff can edit the title of the threads. I would suggest that you contact Magic Ted (but he seems to be busy as it had been here since Sat) or maybe or the Staffs members can help you. My personal recommendation would be to left it with just the title.

Hi guys! 0.4 is out for the Public!

This version is a little shorter than the previous ones since it was a short and busy month (last month). Just a heads up.

What does 0.4 bring?

We have a total of ~3 sex scenes with different characters.

• The community poll vote from last month about which girl Chloe should end up hooking with was decided to be Zoey by the majority of you and you can see the fruit of your decision in this version.
• ~150 rendered images (including the animations)
• You get to make a choice from another character's point of view. This is just a test and I will probably make a poll in the future to ask on people's opinion if they'd like to see more choices from different characters or not.
• Ruby gets a new hairstyle! I've seen complaints in the past about her hairstyle and I agree. It actually took a long time for me to pick the right one as a lot of the hairstyles just don't look right on her. I think the one I ended up choosing in this version looks good. I will let you be the final judges of that though.
• Whenever a player gets to this point in the game (0.4) they will see the main menu updated with the new hairstyle of Ruby. As this is a persistent thing, even if you start a new game you will still see the updated hairstyle. Only wiping your persistent data in the save files will revert her back to the old one until you reach that point in the game again.
• Added an ambient music track to play throughout the game.

Also, back in 0.2 I updated Chloe's face to look better, but never updated her in the Credits. This is the actual difference of her change:

Now she has been properly updated in the Credits as well.

I am also aware of the twitching in the clothing during Ruby's animation in her sex scene. The thing about this is that it's really hard for me to undress her clothing that she currently wears. It creates a lot of problems. I have actually rendered the animation about 2-3 times (and the whole animation is ~19 separate renders) and I've stitched together to make it look as good as possible and still sexy. I want to make it realistic enough so that not every character loses all of their clothing every time.

What's new in 0.5?

• Added a new option in the config menu called 'Netorare' which you can turn on or off. The option is set to on by default. This is for people who don't want to see any scenes that will have Netorare and this version has one such scene.

• Changed the Credits music to something more cyberpunkish. (I have ideas to change the in-game one too or add additional, but I can't promise anything yet.)

Fixes:

• Fixed a few things on the Credits screen, including the text speed and Chloe's shadow behind her.

• Fixed a problem where the in-game ambient music would play whenever you enter the Configuration menu before actually loading or starting the game.

• Fixed a few typos from the previous version.

Hey guys. I updated the OP with the latest update (0.12). Here are the new things in this update:

Hey guys. I am updating the OP with the latest update (0.13). Here are the new things in this update:

Overview:

• New sex scenes include: A Netorare scene(choice appears only if enabled from the Options menu), Blowjob, Boobjob, Vaginal sex scenes, Cunniliungus;

• I now render the scenes with an extra option enabled (which I haven't used until now because I didn't use the Beta software of DS) It's called Post Denoiser. It basically removes all noise from rendered scenes. I used to render for hours some images and then have to go in Photoshop to deal with the noise further, but that is no longer a problem and it helps a ton with rendering.
• Updated the 0.13 Walkthrough to represent the new font and style inside the game itself. (patrons only)

Fixes include:

• Some dialogue correction from previous versions.
• Fixed an error that pops up if you've gone with "Push him away" choice back when the Alien Queen invaded the ship.
• Added additional dialogue from your meeting with the Alien Queen in the last version, thanks to a patron feedback. The added dialogue is only if you have slept with the Queen before on her ship.

Thanks. I did include an option in the main menu's configuration where you can disable it and hide absolutely all Nice Time for Roo related scenes. And in the more recent updates there isn't as much Nice Time for Roo content.

This is the one I am talking about:

I added that option a few updates after the release of the game, so it might not hide the very early Nice Time for Roo scenes, but it should skip everything past 0.4 when disabled. It's enabled by default, so you have to turn it off. I guess I should've made a comment at the start of the game that the option exists in the configuration. I might do that in 0.14!

So, having given the game a fair shake, here are my thoughts. I should note that I haven't finished, but this warranted a bit of a review after my last comment.

I appreciate the ability to turn Nice Time for Roo off, but it's pretty intricately weaved into the storyline in such a way that it can't be removed, can it? Even with Nice Time for Roo turned off,

Your wife still cheated on you, is banging another guy in the next room, and said guy talks crap about doing so. Then if that wasn't bad enough, one of the options for the new girl you start seeing sucks another guy's dick while you're eating her out (admittedly, the events before Amir got there were pretty hot). And heck, all of the options to get cucked by the same guy banging your wife are still there in that particular situation too. Then there's the thing with Amir and Dahlia/Melisa, and just a whole lot of watching dudes rape the women on the ship. The stuff with Lexa (who I am guessing is Zoey from the future or something to do with her being the cryofreeze experiment) after Jack was also pretty gnarly.

Bear in mind that that's with Nice Time for Roo turned *off*. I'm actually not sure what even got turned off considering the breadth of Nice Time for Roo content still in afterwards. I think it's a very Nice Time for Roo-centered game and that's fine (not my kink, but I'm not one to judge) -- but I think when you're going to make it such a central part of the story, you might as well scrap the option to turn it off all together. That said, if I ignore the discomfort, I'll note that I really like the environment and the plot is pretty interesting. I enjoyed the overarching plot progression. The visuals are great; I like the fine details on the fabric and hair. The development with the daughters was very interesting. All of the alien species was also a nice touch. It's kind of a bummer that you are precluded from certain scenes by doing other ones, but understandable. The relationships, when not hindered by the Nice Time for Roo stuff, are great.

I know it sounds like I'm down on the game because of the Nice Time for Roo, but I'm just noting the killjoy for me personally; it's actually written incredibly well and anyone into Nice Time for Roo would probably fall in love with this. And after the invasion, things are actually pretty great all around.

Also, Aurora is an Asari, isn't she?

Thanks for the feedback incuboss. I understand that some people dislike the Nice Time for Roo part. (Some are really vocal and very inflammatory about it). I understand it's not perfect, but I've tried to give at least the option to hide most of the Nice Time for Roo content and hide all sex scenes related to it. Also, the Nice Time for Roo takes a backseat in later updates and there's practically none there. I want everyone to enjoy the game, but it's kind of impossible to do that.

Here are the new things in this update:

Overview:

• 200+ rendered images (including the animations).

• 3 New endings, all of which give you an unique main menu update (it can be changed if you load a previous save and play through a different ending. That way it updates it with the latest ending you've gotten).
• All main characters get screen time and their own personal conclusion to the story.
• Previous choices will give you different scenes/dialogue here. Lot's of different dialogue available in this update as part of the different paths.
• I went back and fixed a lot of things from previous versions from what I could spot that needed fixing. The quick menu in the bottom right now is hidden throughout the whole game when a choice is made and when a sex scene animation plays out.
