Rat Raiders perma stun? 0.9.076

Good evening/morning to yall!

I am currently playing the kineticist with high Int/Wil an level 10. Thus only having 5 Phys, 30 Ref and 11 Aim.
Even though I am high leveled for ZengShi I cant beat the Rat Raiders. One of them has a binding stun that well...stuns me but for an extreme amount of time.
I tried it several times and got to a high score of being stunned 16 consecutive rounds before being defeated, averaging with around 10 rounds of stun.

I never experienced it even when playing a techy or merc with similar low Phys.

Is this a bug or does anyone know the calculation chance of stunning and recovering of the rad raiders?

Have you tried raising your Physique to see if it improves your chances? I think Stun is a Physique check.

I couldnt really raise Phys high but I got it to 20 with the lvl up. Now I average out with around 6 rounds of stun per stun. So Phys does seem to work.

Even though, the amount of stun you can get from them is insane, especially if you can get juggle-stunned by 2 enemies. I really dont want to balance-whine but I think there should be a limit, an increase in chance of recovering each try or an "immunity" to stuns after recovering from one . At least for one round. :gedthinkies:

There are two special stuns: One targets Willpower (Stun Gun), the other Physique (Headbutt).

They also have Stun Batons. If I'm not mistaken, the Stun Chance applies to their basic attack.

I think part of the problem is at some point after they were added, Stun Chance was changed from a pure random chance to an opposed check (Physique/Aim) vs Physique. The male Rats have 40 Physique.

They also go second, so if you break the Stun, they can reapply it immediately afterward. This actually makes them more dangerous after they've expended their Energy.
