Ranma 1/2 Fic Brainstorming

I apologize if this is off-topic, but I couldn't think of anywhere else to go. Long story short, I got my start in writing doing Ranma 1/2 fanfiction, then took a hiatus from that, during which time I did a little work for the original Corruption of Champions. I turned back to Ranma 1/2 several years ago, but I've not lost my taste for the darkly erotic world that CoC first introduced me to. I have two very rough idea seeds around the same concept of Ranma characters being transported to a world inspired by the original Corruption of Champions, but the problem is that I do better with my brainstorming when I have somebody to bounce things off of. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in helping me work out the various finer details of these ideas - world lore, native characters, transformation options, things like that?

The basic seed of the two ideas is that Happosi has a magical macguffin in his possession that can transport the target(s) to a world inspired by CoC; a dying world being overrun by the soulless hordes of a hedonistic human magocracy turned demonic horde. In story 1, only Ranma gets transported, due to Ryoga using it as a weapon against Ranma. In story 2, the whole teen cast of Ranma 1/2 gets transported, plus the teens of Furinkan High and St Hebereke School for Girls to give some extra bacskground fodder 'n' spear carriers.

Aside from worldbuilding and character ideas that could be shared between the two ideas, idea #1 is largely centered around a) coming up with a replacement harem for Ranma, and b) ironing out the details of how Ranma would react to this perverse new world. Would he be willing to accept the amorous affections of gynomorphic figures - futas and cboys? Things like that.

Idea #2 requires the most work, because whilst I largely want to leave Ranma untouched by transformations (having no interest in Ranma-chan works), though I am kind of tempted to have Ranma try to cure his Nyanniichuan, only to end up a femboy in a world where he's still surrounded by horny people who want to dick him and he can still get pregnant (I like trap-preg, not gonna apologize), the rest of his motley crew I have no such qualms against transforming in all kinds of interesting ways, so refining what happens to them is a big part of the pre-emptive work for this idea.

So... anyone interested in giving an old fossil a hand?

1, only Ranma gets transported, due to Ryoga using it as a weapon against Ranma. In story

Valid, most of the antagonists tend to be idiots in Ranma.

2, the whole teen cast of Ranma 1/2 gets transported, plus the teens of Furinkan High and St Hebereke School for Girls to give some extra bacskground fodder 'n' spear carriers.

Too much, while CoC is deliberately a porn game. Ranma 1/2 isn't porn despite some flashing of boobs here and there. Plus the 90% of cast of Ranma 1/2 are composed of inherently toxic selfish people with no understanding of other people with very little character development in regards to maturity from what I recall. It WOULD NOT make a great mic. It would also set the stage for the pitfall of too many characters, and trying to give them screen time. That just butchers everything.

Pick 2, at most 3 characters. I'd avoid Akane and Shampoo. The former is a bitch, and the later... too two dimensional form what I recall and also a bitch. Give Ranma someone that he has a relationship with already that isn't centered around his father just using him, or just wanting to use him as breeding stock. You will get more out of the story, and it will be easier to draw out emotional depth in interactions. Ranma characters can be hard, and easy to deal with. They tend to be more two dimensional, and unchanging. Problem is, is that is their personality. It can be expanded upon, but only so much until the character becomes your own, and it's more so about the idea of the character. It becomes just the name at that point.

One I'd go with is that Japanese pizza girl (forgive me it has been YEARS since I read Ranma). Akane's sister that obsesses over money has an easy motive to utilize, and isn't necessarily a ball of angst when it comes to Ranma. I don't see a sexual relationship occurring between them. Ryoga would also be an option depending on how you do it. Either way with Ryoga it would involve some sort of violence, especially near the beginning.

Ranma is stubborn but also has an adaptive streak to him. It's doable on multiple fronts just depends on 'how'.

Just keep in mind that despite his gender swapping he is a 'guy', despite transforming into a girl.
