The Retreat Version 0.9 is now released. The major change in this release is the endings. The plot is now complete.


There is now 7 different endings to the game where you confront Barnes and… well that depends on what choices you’ve made so far. There are also variations on each ending depending on what your relationship is with your friends.

So, as one can guess we’re getting near the final release of the Retreat. The plan going forward is that there will be one or perhaps two more minor releases. One definitively due to the bugs that I know are in this version and perhaps an additional content release for me to add some things that I’ve forgotten or just want to polish up.

Some comments. Are you able to enslave the trainer and the wedding best men? I don't see that option appearing, but I don't know if that is on purpose or accidental.

Thomas and Ms Washington disappear after I trip the private key flag. I remembered enslaving Thomas before and don't know what happened this time to make them disappear.

Finally, how do I gain purify?

The Trainer, Miss Washington and the Best men can´t be enslaved. You can enslave Thomas, but you need to get a lot of willpower to do that. I think you are mistaking Thomas (the one on the Small cabin) With Jensen (the one in the kitchen paltry). Jensen and Miss Washington are the ones who disappear.

Thanks for you answer, and for all your hard work in getting this game up and running. I really enjoyed the characterization and the storyline. (Although to be honest, I enjoyed corrupting everyone the most)

I managed to figure out the purify route.
I can purify Barbie, but not Ken. Is that on purpose?

Also, any tips on getting your willpower high enough to beat Pastor Barnes? Or should I just play on easy mode

Trainer was a bug. He can now be purified and enslaved in the next version. (Though it doesn't do much)

Ken not being purified was a bug as well. I've fixed it. He was only being purified when Barbie had the Demon not when you took it from her.

Pastor Barnes is not defeated by Willpower. You've enslaved/purified what 10 people? He's enslaved hundreds.

On the purify route you need to get your Corruption down to zero before you enter the door.

On the enslave route you need to have allied with Sierra (Given her the demon from Barbie) and have a Willpower of over 320.

Spoiler: Overview

Overview
There are two main paths through the game. The PURE path and the CORRUPT path. You start on the PURE path but you can leave it at any time as you start to choose more and more CORRUPT options. In general resist looking at PORN to stay on the PURE path. Major choices that will take you off the PURE path will be marked.

The walkthrough focuses on the actions on how to get through the game. As you play through be sure to Examine and Search everything to get all the small details.

Important Concepts
As you read the walkthrough you will find capitalized letters.
DECISION – A choice that has long term consequences, especially on the ending.
LORE-Backstory and information about the Retreat and the people there.
RP – Roleplaying. This allows you to choose who your character is and how he reacts.

Hidden Values
Stats that are not on the Walkthrough. These stats are so ubiquitous that they are not included on the Walkthrough. If you are playing PURE you will want to avoid LUST and CORRUPTION and avoid the RP that will add to them.
LUST - LUST is a measure of how aroused your character is, PORN will in general increase LUST.
CORRUPTION – The Walkthrough will not inform you when you will get CORRUPTION. CORRUPTION is not increased by thoughts, illusions, or imaginations, only by actions that your character takes… voluntary or not. CORRUPTION is represented by the minimum LUST value that you character reaches after orgasm.

Important Actions
These are major actions you can take and powerful abilities you get in the late game. When you use these abilities the game compares your Maximum Willpower against the characters difficulty (See Characters) if your Max Willpower is larger then you’ll be successful.
PURIFY – This is an ability you will get on the PURE route. When you purify a character, you remove the CORRUPTION from them. This will increase your Maximum Will power, refill your Willpower, and reduce your own CORRUPTION.

ENSLAVE - This is an ability you will get on the CORRUPT route. When you enslave a character, you will bind their will to yours and often unlock new PORN options with them. This will increase your Maximum Will power, refill your Willpower, and increase your own CORRUPTION.

Walk Through

Spoiler: Part 1 – Introduction and Dormitory.

1. Start the game and choose your difficulty level
2. Read through the backstory of who you are and what you are doing here. Then comes your first choose of the game. Accept that your name is Daniel or choose your own first name. Continue reading the lore until you reach the first are the Bus stop.
3. Look around the bus stop and talk to all the characters for LORE until you are ready to Open the Gate.
4. Talk to Rayford for Lore and then head North along the path.
5. This section is linear so just follow the path and examine the guests and your friends for LORE. Events will trigger for RP.
6. At the Welcome Center talk to Barnes for LORE and then head inside.
7. Continue on until you find yourself at the Cafeteria. Look around for LORE and when you are ready Talk to Mrs. Cooper. She’ll send you back the way you came.
8. Before you go, talk to your friends again for LORE.
9. Head back up the path to the Dormitory and then go inside.
10. Once inside the Common Area the door behind you closes, you won’t be getting out that way for a while. Head West to your bedroom.
11. Search everything in the Bedroom for RP. When you are ready, examine and then sleep in the green bed.
12. Well, that looked ominous. Head back to the Common Room.
13. Examine the Red Haze and check the windows for LORE. Try to Open the Woman’s Doors for PORN. When Ready enter Men’s Bunkroom.
14. Yup, things are getting worse. The first choice you get is PORN and then you click on your picture to wake up. Your next choice is RP. For your third choice choose “Just Let Go” for the first GameOver of the game. Pick either of the other two to continue.
15. Now you’ve met Z’Rul who will stay with you the rest of the game. Now it’s time to explore.
16. Go into the Men’s Bathroom and look at the Mirror to see what changes have been made. The choices are RP.
17. Head back to the Common area and go up to the Game Room for PORN and HUMOR. Step into the Haze for PORN and a potential game over.
18. Go into the Woman’s Bathroom and Search the Clothes pile. You will find something to wear and a choice. To find clothes that will make you look like a woman choose that you are female or that you don’t care.
19. Wear the Clothes
20. Go into the Woman’s Bedroom to Find Mrs. Cooper. Talk to her for LORE and RP and when you are leaving you get your first Choice.
21. CORRUPT: Head into the Bedroom and search the Blue Bed for the Dildo (Or if you already found it, Search the Room) then head back to Mrs. Cooper and give it to her for Corruption and Willpower.
22. Step into the Red Haze to go through.

Spoiler: Part 2 – Forest

1. You have now passed through the Red Haze and have more Freedom of Movement. It’s time to get out of here.
2. Head back to the Central Clearing and see that a lot of new options have opened up.
3. Head South to try to escape. Examine everything for PORN and try to jump the Gate for PORN and another Game Over. That won’t work to escape.
4. Lets head to the Welcome Center. Go back to the Clearing and head East. Search the Trees for PORN and RP and then continue to find the next challenge. Red Fog filling the valley. Look around. It looks like your end goal is to reach the island, first you need to get through the Red Fog. Head back to the Central Clearing.
5. Search SW and SE for PORN. It seems both the men and woman’s dorms have been turned into Orgies.
6. Head North and meet Rayford for RP. Search the Stone Bridge for a Green Potion then head North again.
7. Welcome to the Main Cabin, open the door and find that isn’t going to work. You’re going to need a Key.
8. Head West, look around for PORN, then head West Again to a Small Cabin.
9. Search A Small Cabin for LORE and then head inside.
10. Go to the Kitchen and meet Tomas. Submit or Resist him for PORN, or just Retreat.
11. Head back out of the Cabin and head South East.
12. Examine everything and Search the upper path for HUMOR and PORN but leave the Acorn where it is. It’s not important.
13. Head SE again to reach the central clearing.
14. Head NE now to the Lower Path. Explore the Stream for HUMOR and take a Bath to recharge your Will. First choice is RP but if you think someone is watching it will lead to PORN. The bush is nothing but if Brian Tanner is free you’ll find him here later hiding.
15. Head E into the Scout Campground. It looks a little strange. Respond to Z’Rul for RP. Search the Campground and then Step into the Echo.
16. Search the Scout Masters Tent to find the Main Cabin Key. Try to take it for PORN and you’ll find yourself back in the Campground. Everything from the Echo is just a memory and you can’t take anything out.
17. Go back into the Echo. Interact with Everything for PORN before examining the Tree Stump. Look closer to realize it’s the only constant in the area and then sit on it. Keep sitting on it until the PORN passes. Examine the snow tent for more Porn and then leave the Echo.
18. Head back into the campground and Search until you find the Stump. Look around the Stump to find the Key. You can now open the Main Cabin.
19. Head Back to the Lower Path and head NE to a small cottage. Search for HUMOR and then head inside.
20. Search the common room to find a statue but just leave it there. It’s not important.
21. Open the door you can and head NE to meet Barbie. Talk to her for RP and if you are CORRUPT accept Z’Rul’s help to resist her. Otherwise Resist or Submit for PORN or just retreat.
22. If you accepted Z’Rul’s help you can now search the Cabin for some Items, if you did not, don’t worry. We’ll be back later.
23. If you didn’t retreat then you’ll find yourself back in the central clearing. Head back NE to the cottage.
24. Exit the cottage and head West. Examine the Tree and stick your hand inside for a Butterfly Potion then continue West.
25. We’re back at the Main Cabin. Unlock the Door with the Key and head inside.

Spoiler: Part 3 – Main Cabin

1. Head inside the Main Cabin for some RP with Z’Rul.
2. Head East to the Kitchen and look around for some HUMOR and PORN. Check the Refrigerator for the cucumbers. Eat one or two if you like but save at least one, we’ll need it later.
3. Well explore downstairs later so just head W and NW to the Stairs.
4. Examine the Painting on the Basement Stairs and touch it to find a secret safe. We’ll come back to this later so head SW into the Dining Room.
5. Look around the Dining Room for PORN and LORE and then head W to the Den.
6. Meet Emma in the Den. RP however you want but if you’re CORRUPT you can steal her will for a Willpower Boost and PORN otherwise if you are PURE say No.
7. Head Downstairs into the Common Room. Look around for PORN and then head E.
8. Wow, that’s a lot of doors. Open all the ones you can. You won’t be able to open the S one yet.
9. Head SW, N, or NW for Porn.
10. Head NE to meet Brain and Kenneth. Talk to Kenneth for LORE and he’ll give you a quest if you want which will give you a magic ring and a will boast. We’ll do the quest in a second.
11. Head SE to meet Jacob.
12. DECISION – How you Treat Jacob has a major effect on the Ending. Being Rude and Hostile to Jacob here will make him Hostile in return and will make him no longer your friend. (Coming out is hard.) This will make him aggressive the rest of the game and lock off all friendly outcomes, both PURE and CORRUPT. Choose the understanding and compassionate choices, the ones on the bottom, to maintain your friendship.
13. However you treat Jacob you’ll find out that resisting the Red Fog is a matter of Willpower. You need to build your willpower and then test it by resisting Thomas.
14. So we’re going to build our willpower by working on the quest Kenneth gave us.
15. Head E to the Basement. Look at the Bookshelves for HUMOR and PORN and sit on the Chair once for a will recharge and twice for PORN. Then head E again.
16. Search the Wine Cellar for a Wine Bottle and then head back to Kenneth to give it to him. You’ll get PORN and a Magic Ring. Now it’s time to head upstairs.
17. Head Back W to the Common Room and then head upstairs twice to the landing. Look around for Porn then head E.
18. Look around the Hallway. It seems someone lost their Key in the Bedroom of the Small Cabin, we’ll pick that up when we go back there to Resist Thomas.
19. Open the Door and head North to meet Trainer. He’s not really friendly and will stick you in a cage.
20. Use the Room Portrait to kill time. You need to take at least 3 actions before you can try to get attention. When Trainer takes you out you need to submit to him, choosing resist actions will send you back into the cage. If your Lust is high enough, you’ll submit automatically. When he’s done he’ll fall asleep leaving you to search his room.
21. Search the Room for the Suit and look at the decorations for HUMOR. If you are TRANS you can find the key to the woman’s bathroom in one of the decorations. Go down to the Bathroom for PORN and Search it for another female outfit. If you want, wake Trainer up for advanced training and PORN.
22. Once you have the Suit, put it on and leave the Room and head to Thomas. He’s back in the Forest to the W in the Small Cabin.
23. Resist Thomas, he takes 125 Max Willpower but only after you’ve met Jacob, and Talk to him for LORE.
24. Be sure to ask him what he was looking for and you’ll get the Black DVD. This looks interesting and we’ll follow it up in a second.
25. Go W and search the Luggage to find the Bible. Choose Ideas are Fireproof for a will increase. Search the Room for the Sleep Aid.
26. Go E and search the Room for the Jockstrap.
27. Go N to find the Key to the “Mistress’s Room” We’re going to follow this up in a minute but first we’re going to follow up the Black DVD.
28. PURE: Following up the Black DVD and the Mistress Room Key is not necessary for the PURE route. You can just head through the fog now.
29. We need a DVD Player to head back down to the Dorm where you started and in the common room there is a DVD Player. Watch the DVD and choose “Knowledge is Power” to find about the Secret Door in the Wine Cellar of the Main Cabin. Keep Watching for PORN.
30. Let’s Head Back to the Main Cabin Now. First, we’re going up to the Mistresses Room.
31. Enter the Mistresses Room and Search at least 3 things and you’ll be drawn to the Work Bench. Search the Work Bench to find the Black Box. Open to the Black Box to find it’s full of Sex Toys. Search the Black Box to find the hollow Dildo.
32. Search the Potion Rack for Potions to find a Blue and a Pink Potion. Drink the Blue Potion for a Will Increase.
33. Now, it’s time to head to the Wine Cellar and find the secret door. Search for it and you’ll find it pointing NW from the Wine Cellar.
34. Go NW into the Secret Library.
35. Once inside examine all the bookshelves. Search the Organized Bookshelf for Humor and then the Cluttered Bookshelf in order to find more items to examine.
36. Examine the Crystal to find it’s a necklace (Examine everything else to find PORN) and then take the necklace. It seems there is a ritual that will allow you to trap a demon in the necklace.
37. Take Z’Rul’s advice and search the Central Bookshelf. Most of what follows is RP but when Z’Rul gives you a wager accept it and you’ll find the ritual. You are now ready to capture a Demon. It won’t work on Z’Rul but we’ve already found another Demon in the Retreat.
38. Go to the Small Cottage and Resist Barbie. She takes 140 Max Willpower which you can do with the Suit, the Ring, and the Blue Potion (Or Jockstrap). The decisions you make in the cut scene are just RP though you can get PORN from them if you don’t mind a corruption.
39. Go West and Search the Vanity for a Magic Earing.
40. Go West again and search the Bunkroom for the Panties. You can also search the luggage for some HUMOR. Unlatch the Door and Open it.
41. Insert the Crystal Necklace into the Hollow Dildo and go back to Barbie.
42. DECISION – If you’re on the PURE Route and you use the Dildo to take the Demon you will not be able to fully purify Barbie later. It will take an essential part of her and when you later purify her she will not be corrupt but she will still be a Bimbo.
43. If you are CORRUPT you can give the hollow dildo to Barbie now and take her Demon.
44. DECISION – If you are CORRUPT and you have taken the Demon you now have the option to put it into yourself. This will result in a Massive boost to your power but it will also close off the opportunity to go for ENDING 7. So, if you want to defeat Barnes and conquer the Retreat as it’s new ruler do NOT take the demon into yourself. You will need it later.
45. Whatever you choose, you are now able to pass the Red Fog. Head back to the path towards the Welcome Center and head through.

Spoiler: Part 4 – Induction Center – Upper Level

1. You’ve now passed through the Red Fog and are on the way to the Induction Center.
2. There is a hammock in lakeside central. If you let Dr. Sadana out of the tube uncorrupted but are on the CORRUPT Route you’ll later find her here, having been corrupted by the pillar of fire.
3. Head NE and try to get in the speedboat. It looks like you need a Key. Now we know what we need to be looking for in the Induction Center.
4. Head back to Lakeside Central and head NE. It looks like Rayford is here, choose what you want for RP and continue.
5. It seems like the Welcome Center is really the Induction Center. Either Way, head on in.
6. You’ll meet Summer as soon as you go inside. Answer her for RP and then Talk to her for RP and LORE. There is also a Private Door Leading to the upper levels. You need a key to open it. We should remember that.
7. Head W to the Side room. Look around for HUMOR and Check the Door. It seems you need a Key Card. So we should keep an eye out for one.
8. Head E and then E again into the Cafateria. It looks like someone has done a number on this place since you were last here. Like there was a giant Orgy or something. Take some of the Baked Goods, you might need them later.
9. Head E again to the Dinning Room and inspect around for some PORN.
10. Go back to the Cafeteria and head S. It looks like someone is reading for a presentation. Inspect around for PORN and then go E.
11. Opps, that didn’t work. You seem to have been Kidnapped. Talk to the Kidnappers with RP and then figure out what you are going to do. When you’re ready, Select the Kidnappers and struggle.
12. PURE – If you want to get out of the Kidnappers without getting a little more corrupt you need to be a terrible Actor. Always choose the bad Acting choice to make them steadily more frustrated with you. Finally after two failed takes you can tell them you’re just not an Actor and they will let you go.
13. CORRUPT – Just go to the end of the scene and they will let you go.
14. CORRUPT – If you did the Scene and the Kidnappers were happy you’ll be invited back for Advanced Kidnapping. Choose this and you’ll get PORN and a Taser.
15. Go E and Look at the Presentation for some RP and continue for some PORN. Search the Room for some LORE.
16. Go W to the Red Conference Room and look at the Presentation for some HUMOR and then Search the Room for the Cowboy Outfit.
17. Head back to the Cafeteria and head N to meet Mrs. Washington for some RP.
18. Mrs. Washington Needs a cucumber. Remember how we found some in the Kitchen of the Main Cabin? Head back to get one and then give it to her for PORN and possible help in getting a Key Card.
19. If you give Mrs. Washington the Cucumber be sure to talk to her afterwards and she’ll give you Part of the Safe Code from the main cabin. It’s Randomized so be sure to write it down.
20. Search the Kitchen to find a Lust Potion Dispenser and then head E.
21. Meet Jansen. Talk to him for some RP.
22. Search the Kitchen Pantry and you’ll find a Key Card. Try to pick it up and Jansen will stop you. It looks like you need a way to distract him.
23. You have two choices. If you gave Mrs. Washington the Cucumber you can offer her to distract him. Otherwise you’ll need to do it yourself.
24. To have sex with him you need to talk him into it. You need to be interesting. Take the Options “Need some Stress Relief?” “You’re Jealous.” And “So let me get you off.” To start the sex scene.
25. You still don’t have the key card yet. You need to steal the Card while he’s distracted. Fail for PORN. Or just pick the following choices. “Continue.” Then “Five Finger Discount”. Jansen will lie to you and state he never intended to give you the key card. He won’t notice it’s now in your hand.
26. Head back to the side room, open the door, and head E.
27. Interesting, it looks like this is the office area. What a lot of rooms to search. Search Cubicle Row for PORN. Examine the Coffee Station for a Memo with PORN and LORE. Grab a cup of coffee. You’ll need it later.
28. Head NW to meet Tesla Volt. There is something… strange about this guy. Talk to him for some LORE and the fact that he can apparently make Z’Rul go silent on his own. When you leave he’s say he’s open to making you an offer.
29. You can go back in to make a Deal for the Submissive Outfit. It will give you a lot of corruption though.
30. Back in the Cubicle Row head N to Alex’s Office. Search the Office for a MEMO with PORN and LORE, Search the Filing Cabinets from top to bottom for PORN, HUMOR, and LORE. Then Search the Computer.
31. Search the Projects on the Computer for PORN and HUMOR. Then head to the E-mails. Most are HUMOR but be sure to check out the E-mail that says Passwords. Hmm, it says Jack’s password is 4 numbers and that it’s a Mnemonic. Say the phrase out loud and listen for the words that sound like numbers and you get Jack’s password is 4121.
32. Head S and then NE to Chaki’s office. Search the office for a Dress if Trans. Search the Desk for a collar. Inspect everything for PORN and then head to the computer. Check the Projects for PORN and HUMOR and then go to the E-mails.
33. Read the E-mails for HUMOR but check the E-mail “Subject: To Many People!” It seems there is a basement access from the office.
34. Head Back to Cubicle Row and Search it to find a secret door. This place seems to have a lot of those. You don’t know how to open it yet but that’s what we’re going to be working on next.
35. Head SE into Sandy’s Office. Inspect everything for PORN. It looks like the computer is password protected, they’re finally getting better at security. Then check the Postit Note for the Password. Their security still sucks. Search the Red Couch for the Remote and take it. This will open the Secret door, now we just need the code.
36. Head Back to Cubicle Row and then Head S. Meet Jack, the boss in charge of all the chaos at the office. He’s hard at work like a good manager but you need to get access to his computer. You can’t do it when he’s looking at you so you need to tire him out some.
37. PURE: Add the Sleep Aid to the Cup of Coffee and give it to him.
38. CORRUPT: Go back to the Kitchen and use the Lust Draft Dispenser to spike the coffee then give it to him for PORN.
39. Either way, Jack’s taking a short nap. He’ll wake up as soon as you leave the room so do what you have to quick. Inspect everything for PORN, LORE, and HUMOR when you find two memos. The one from the books will recharge your willpower.
40. Open the Computer. Its password locked, and the password is not sitting around here. It looks like they’re finally getting better on security. Still we already found the Password of 4121 in Alex’s Office so enter it and look at the computer.
41. Look at the E-mails for HUMOR and then check the E-mail titled “Subject: Lab Access” for the Keypad Code. It randomizes every game from 1 to 99 so take note of it. Don’t worry, you won’t have to remember it long.
42. Head N to Cubicle Row and use the Keypad Code on the Remote and the Secret Door will open. Time to head to the Labs.

Spoiler: Part 5 – Induction Center – Lower Level

1. Head S to the Control Room. Use the Control Panel for PORN. Check Camera 8 to find out what happened to Mrs. Lee. CORRUPT: Use the Controls to reactivate all four Machines to start corrupting people. This will give you a side quest complete later in the lab.
2. Head S again and it looks like Z’Rul is giving you a warning. Better accept that warning and Save Now. There are a lot of Game Overs in the Lab.
3. Start Opening Doors. The Heavy Door cannot be opened. The Door for the NE will only open if you Ally with Sierra Later. You need the Masters outfit to open the Door to the SE. There is nothing to the SW.
4. Go N to find a man in Red Rope. You can use him, or if you want to have fun Untie him and tell him to Jump the Gate. If you do you’ll find him corrupted in the Entrance Path. Or if you’re pure you can just let him go. Remember to Search the Room for the Butt Plug Item.
5. Go back to the hall and head S to find Brian Tanner. You can choose what you want to do but if you have the Baked Goods and you release him you can then give him the Baked Goods to Corrupt him. This will give you the other part of the Safe Code. Its randomized so write it down.
6. You can now open the Safe in the Main Cabin for the most powerful outfit in the game. The Katchum Suit.
7. From the Hallway head E to meet Engineer Lamarr. Talk to her for LORE and now you’re in front of Room 101. Step inside Room 101 and Close the Door for a GAME OVER. Otherwise, Head W.
8. Head W until you reach the Nurse Station. Search the Nurse Station for a Control Panel and then Search it again for PORN.
9. Use the Control Panel to unlock all the door. Remember, this is a containment facility so Green means locked and safe, Red means unlocked and dangerous, change all the lights to Red.
10. Go NW to see PORN. If you have the Taser you can use it on the two guards when they are distracted to rescue Billy.
11. Go SW to see PORN. Setting the machine to reset her personality will lower your CORRUPTION.
12. Go N to meet Stanley Brextion. PURE: If you are on the Pure route (Corruption Less then 100) Stanley is very interested in you. You’ll get PORN as he starts to give you a blowjob but you can also talk to him for LORE and get powerups from his experiments. CORRUPT: Stanley does not think you are interesting and will ignore you.
13. Go E to Talk to Engineer Lamaar. If you didn’t turn the Machines using the Controls in the Control Room she will give you a quest to do so now. The Reward is either a new Female outfit or a Blowjob. Inspect the Rest of her Lab for PORN.
14. Head NE to meet Dr. Murphy and Dr. Sadana. Talk to Dr. Murphy for RP and he will give you a quest to collect some chemicals to help corrupt Dr. Sadana. You have a couple of Options here.
15. You can refuse to collect the chemicals and Murphy will go get them himself. You will then have a very limited time to get into the lab and open the tube to release Sadana. If you fail there is a GAME OVER if you succeed she escapes and you lower your corruption and get a Will Boast. Otherwise when Murphy Returns he will corrupt Sadana and next time you find them they’ll be happily working together to create Mind Control Arousals.
16. You can accept the quest and go to the SE lab to find the Chemicals. Once you get them you will have the option to Sabotage the Chemicals. If you do, Sadana will not be corrupted and Murphy will go back to work to find out what went wrong. If you do not you can deliver the Chemicals back to Murphy and watch as he corrupts Dr. Sadana for PORN. Murphy will also give you the master’s Outfit as a reward for helping him.
17. With the master’s outfit you can go back to the Cell Hallway and if you wearing it you can open the SE door for PORN and then search the room for the Whip Item.
18. Go to the Nurse Station and then head SE to talk to the Chemist for RP. Search the Supply Cabinets for Potions, PORN, and Lab Chemicals if you are working on Murphy’s Quest then talk to the Chemist for LORE. Be sure to ask her about the Mistress and exhaust all talking possibilities.
19. DECISION - In order to convince her to give you the upstairs key to talk to the Mistress you need to convince her that you are worthy. You can do that in three ways.
20. You can ask the Chemist how you can be worthy and she will mix you a white potion. If you drink it you can then talk to her for the Key. Be warned. This will cause massive and permanent willpower damage, enough to block off some endings.
21. PURE: You can go talk to Stanley Brextion and he can give you an injection that will fool the Chemist and you can then talk to her to give you the Key.
22. You can go back to the Nurses Station and head S into the Reprograming lab. Search the Lab for PORN and the tail plug item and then sit in the Empty chair. This will start a puppy play mind control sequence. Once complete, head back to the Chemist and eat out of the dog bowl next to her. This will convince her that you are worthy and she will give you the key.
23. However, you choose to get the Key it’s time to head upstairs to meet the Mistress. Head back to the front Hall.
24. PURE: When you reach the Cubicle Row you’ll find a familiar face coming to say hello. RP it however you would like as no matter what you choose you’ll end up tasered and unconscious at the end. You’ll wake up on the upper floor.
25. CORRUPT: Just walk up to the door, unlock it and then head up. When you reach the bedroom, you’ll talk to the Mistress.
26. It seems the Mistress is Sierra and she’s taken to this entire, ‘Being Corrupt’ thing, very well. She also has some pretty valid complaints with how she’s been treated before. You will only get a certain number of questions to ask her and it’s suggested that one of them is try to escape the room. Otherwise RP it however you like. Once the conversation with Sierra has finished you will head out to sit on the Beach.
27. DECISION – This is where the PURE and CORRUPT Paths permanently diverge. If you want to continue on the PURE path, you need to make sure that your corruption is under 100. Engage in some serious self-reflection to realize that you’ve been wrong and then formulate a moral justification as to why corruption is wrong. In essence, choose the bottom choice most of the time. When Z’Rul offers you a compromise if your corruption is low enough you will be able to refuse it. In doing so, you will gain the Ability PURIFY and unlock endings 1-4. Any other choice will give you the Ability ENSLAVE and unlock endings 5-7.
28. PURE – At the end of the conversation you’ll get the Scout Uniform. Put it on and remove all your other items to put you on the path to Ending 1.
29. Now, go and PURIFY or ENSLAVE all the other characters. With the exception of Sierra. Check the Character lists for how much Willpower you need for each one.
30. When you do so, you’ll find Jacob has gone missing.
31. If you leave the Chemist until after you deal with Sierra you’ll get unique dialogue.
32. Now, you need to get the Boat Key and Sierra has it. So you need to deal with her. You have 4 options in Total.
33. DECISION – How you choose to deal with Sierra will have major consequences on the end of the game. Choose carefully.
34. PURE – You can Purify Sierra for 170 Max Will power. If you are on the PURE Route this is the only option.
35. CORRUPT – You can use the taser on Sierra and drag her down to Room 101 to become your mind melted slave. If you do this she will become your Secretary in the epilogue after her brain is melted. This will lock out Ending 7 and you’ll only be able to get Ending 5 and 6.
36. CORRUPT – You can enslave Sierra for 320 Max Will power. If you do this and then talk to her you’ll be given a choice of what her fate will be in the epilogue. You can either turn her into your Wife (Default) or you can make her your Secret Agent. This will also lock out Ending 7 and you’ll only be able to get Ending 5 and 6.
37. CORRUPT – You can give Sierra the Hollow Dildo with the Demon Crystal inside, so she is possessed by a Demon. As she wants power, this is the nicest thing anyone has ever done for her, and so she’ll ally with you. You can choose if she becomes your lover or not as well. In the Epilogue she will be your powerful partner. This is required for Ending 7.
38. Regardless of how you dealt with her, search the Master Bedroom for the Boat Key and head on down to the docks.
39. Get in the boat to cross the lake.

Spoiler: Part 6 – The Island

1. Step off the Boat onto the Island.
2. PURE – In order to get the best ending you need to make sure your corruption level stays at zero. This is easy to tell as when your corruption is at zero you’ll be able to see through all the illusions on the island.
3. Head N from the docks to meet your first Figment. Choose how you want it to be for RP and then Continue.
4. Head N again to find yourself at the entrance to the Castle. There is a guard here. RP how you would like to deal with him. You won’t get past and you’ll need to find out how to get to the center of the corruption. Head back S and then go NW.
5. Inspect the Garden for PORN. Search the Ivy for a potion and Inspect the Peonies to bring out the Fairy Queen. You can’t talk to her, but it will bring all the other Fairies out as well. They will all be hot, unless you’re PURE and then you’ll see what they really look like.
6. Head W to the ring of stones where several witches will offer you a deal. What the Deal is depends on your corruption level. Enter with a CORRUPTION of 0 to see a unique scene. Accepting the Deal will cause permanent Willpower Damage and a large increase to corruption.
7. Head back E and then NE and Inspect everything for PORN. Look at the Rose Bushes and search them and then you can pick a rose. Do so and continue on, you’ll need it later.
8. Head NW and Inspect for PORN
9. Head W and see Rayford as he enters the Cabin on the Lake. Peek in through the window to see Jacob!
10. What is happening Depends on how you treated Jacob Earlier. If Jacob is Hostile, he and Rayford will be enthusiastically going at it. If Jacob is Friendly then he’ll be being corrupted.
11. DECISION – You can now determine what happens to Jacob.
12. If Jacob is hostile you will have to ENSLAVE him.
13. If you can PURIFY him you can do so now.
14. IF Jacob is Friendly and you have ENSLAVE you can ask him to join you as your Ally.
15. Whatever happens, you can now ask Jacob how to get past the Guard. You need to pick a White Rose and give it to the Guard. How fortunate we’ve already picked one.
16. Head back to the rear of the castle and this time go SE.
17. Inspect everything for PORN and pickup the pirate ship model for PORN. You can put it down again as it has no other use.
18. Head SW back to the stairs and back N to the Guard. Give him the Rose and go N again to go through.
19. We’re almost at the End. Inspect everything for PORN and go N again.
20. Inspect everything for PORN and LORE and go Down.
21. Welcome to the Cave and there is an ominous door in front of you. This is the end. In the Cave search for LORE and inspect for everything else for PORN.
22. When you open the door, it will ask if you want to continue. Say yes to activate the End Game, confront Barnes, and determine what your fate will be.

Spoiler: Part 7 – Endings

There are 7 endings and they each have the following requirements.

ENDING 1 of 7: A World of Endless Possibility
To get this ending you must enter the Ominous Door with a corruption of zero and the ability to PURIFY. Make sure you have nothing equipped but the scout uniform and you have purified as many people as you can. If you are wondering, you can masturbate before the final door to make sure your lust goes down to 0.

You will get a cutscene where Z’Rul fades away, unable to maintain it’s grasp on your pure soul. Then when talking to Barnes RP through it until you get the option to purify him. Do so and do not give up. You will get ENDING 1. Any other choices will lead to ENDING 4.

In this ending you have defeated the Retreat and Purified everyone. You will get a long cutscene where you talk to your friends and you plan the future, then you’ll go home victorious.

ENDING 2 of 7: The Unending Road
Enter the Ominous Door with a corruption rating above zero and the ability to PURIFY. RP through with Barnes but when you try to purify him you will realize he is to powerful. At this point, turn and run and you will get ENDING 2.

In this ending you have been defeated by the Retreat but not corrupted yourself. After the Retreat ends you will see all the corrupted guests leave while you watch from hiding. You get to see what happened to your friends depending on your choices and when you all leave you’ll be on the road with a long walk back to civilization and a demon still in your head.

ENDING 3 of 7: An Obedient Servant
Enter the Ominous Door with a corruption rating above zero and the ability to PURIFY. RP through with Barnes but when he asks you to surrender, do so and you will get ENDING 3.

In this ending you have been defeated by the Retreat and corrupted. After the Retreat ends you and all the other guests will be sent back to your homes to corrupt everything around you. Z’Rul will be your master and you will follow the imp’s orders.

ENDING 4 of 7: Alter Boy
This is the bad ending of the PURIFY Route. To get this ending you can enter the Ominous Door with a corruption of zero and the ability to PURIFY and then try to run from Barnes or Submit to him. With Z’Rul gone he will not accept.

Alternatively, you can enter the door with a corruption rating above zero and the ability to PURIFY then when purifying Barnes go all in and try to purify him. Z’Rul will stab you in the back and you will be defeated and you will get ENDING 4.

In this ending your mind will have been destroyed. Barnes will rebuild your mind as a submissive toy and you will serve your former pastor as his alter boy and plaything.

ENDING 5 of 7: Pride Goeth...
This is the Bad Ending of the ENSLAVE route. Enter the Ominous Door with the ability to ENSLAVE. RP through your meeting with Barnes. When you get the option try to enslave him, if your willpower is not above 320 and you have not allied with Sierra he will defeat you and you will get ENDING 5.

In this ending your mind will have been destroyed. Barnes will rebuild your mind as a submissive toy and you will be sold to the highest bidder as a live in servant and plaything.

ENDING 6 of 7: Prince of Darkness
This is the Submissive ending of the ENSLAVE route. Enter the Ominous Door with the ability to ENSLAVE. RP through your meeting with Barnes. When he offers, agree to serve him and you’ll get ENDING 6.

In this ending you have been ‘Victorious’ and corrupted. After the Retreat ends you will be ordered by Barnes to head back to your home town and lead the now corrupted guests in conquering it.

ENDING 7 of 7: Evil Never Dies!
This is the Dominant ending of the ENSLAVE route. Enter the Ominous Door with the ability to ENSLAVE. Make sure you have a Max Willpower of at least 320 and have Allied with Sierra. RP through your meeting with Barnes. When you get the chance try to enslave him. He will start to win but then Sierra will arrive and the two of you will defeat him after great struggle and remove his demon. You both will have conquered the Retreat and gotten ENDING 7.

In this ending you have been ‘Victorious’ and corrupted. After the Retreat ends Sierra will head back to your home town to corrupt it while you stay as the new master of the Retreat and wait for the next group of guests to arrive.

In July 2016 I started writing the Game that would eventually be called ‘The Retreat’. Now 24 months, and 250,000 words, later I’m declaring ‘The Retreat’ Complete.


It’s been a long road and originally this game was going to be a present to my dear partner. Now however, it’s going to be a present to my dear husband whom I married during the last year. I really hope he enjoys it.


I’d like to thank everyone here who has responded with bugs, feedback, or just to tell me that they like the game. Thinking of the people that were looking forward to the next release is what kept me going through the struggles and the writers block.


I hope you all enjoyed the game as much as I did creating it.


So you know the latest version fixes the Bugs found for the V0.9 release and now it’s the V1.0 release. I’m not going to be doing any more bug fixing unless something game breakingly major is found. I’ve tried to export it to an HTLM java game but it wasn’t working so I’ve messaged the person that created the original export. If they respond I’ll add a .html version to the Website.


Some people have asked me what my plans are after finishing the Retreat and I’m already working on my next project. Unfortunately to disappoint people the next project is not going to be a porn game. I might write a few enemy encounters for Corruption of Champions 2 but for the foreseeable future I’m going to be working on a sci fi detective book series.
