Quicksaving

is quicksaving a thing in TiTS or has it been removed to avoid unintentional save overwriting?

Yeah. Especially quickloading, I can't imagine someone messing up with that considering they're already abandoning any unsaved progress either way (unless they tap the F1-12 keys unintentionally, but that'd just be their fault.)
