Questions About Posting Content

So, I've decided to throw my hat into the ring and try to develop some content, starting off with one thing and building from there.

I thought I'd start off with a race as a baseline and then make a character and TF based off of it once the initial pitch was looked at and tweaked to be acceptable.

Once I had finished a rough draft of the race, I tried posting it on the "Event Submissions" subforum (without looking too thoroughly on where it should actually go) and have it deleted from there rather quickly. And after looking a little further, found the "General Codex/Races" thread in the "Ideas" subforum, and posted about the race along with the doc containing the details under that.

Fast forward a few days, and it seems my post still hasn't been approved for public viewing. I'm sure its just that an admin has yet to see the post or is unaware of it.

However, if that's not the case, where would be the correct place to post such a thing so that it gets seen by the right people? I'm really wanting to see feedback on my first piece of content and hopefully improve upon it to where it's good enough to have a chance to be implemented. Hopefully, once that happens, I can move on to making supplementary content based off it, such as a character or TF.

I would be very thankful to anyone willing to give some of their time to answer this newbie's question. Thank you.

Edit: I took a look at the doc to see that an admin had looked at it, saying "New Codex entries without sex-related content are not being accepted at this time.". I'm thankful for the elaboration, and I do have plans to work on a sexable character based off the race in the future, but I just wanted some feedback on the core concept before moving on to bigger stuff. Overall, future plans for characters and TFs based off the race are coming eventually.

you should probably include those plans when you try and post. even better if you already have some work done on those plans. from your document, for all staff knew you just wanted to make up a species for fun.

this is what i meant by a new race increasing the scope of the project.

It's been a few days since then, and as of now, said sexable character's rough draft is nearing completion.

Once it's done I plan to post it to the "Ideas" subforum first to get peer reviews before moving any further with it.

Thank you for your support and advice so far, @Wafflesnake. I really appreciate you giving your time to little ol' me.

Update:

I've pretty much finished working on the character, except for a few small things, and made a post about it in the "Ideas" subforum to hopefully get some feedback. That was sometime late last night.

As of now, I am unsure of where that post went, whether it was declined by an admin or it is in the process of review (I'm still unsure of how the acceptance process works.). I guess all I can do is wait and see, and hopefully I'll get some kind of notification about it soon.

Adjatha is the only reviewer so that can slow things down
Ah, okay. That explains why the process can be slow. I guess all I can do is wait for them to read over the manuscript. (Might take them a while... 40 pages and counting. Hope it makes for a decent read through.)

Edit: I wonder how backed up the queue actually is. Knowing that there are always people out there that post things with little serious intent to make something actually worth considering, I feel bad for Adjatha having to sift through all that possible trash, on top of the actually good content.

Question: Is it necessary to fill out the legal documentations provided before posting things to the "Ideas" subforum as well, or should you only do that when trying to get your content implemented proper?
