Questions about Kitsune

1: In the codex, it says that kitsune don't like to feed off each other because it tastes like sour milk or whatever. However, should you somehow become a kitsune, you still have a whole bunch of floofs coming for that life essence. Is everyone just going "well he clearly expects us to feed from him so let's just take a bit and act like we like it"?
Or did Keros work something with your decoy soul that you could still use it to feed his descendants?

2: Conversely, Hatsumomo never wants your life essence even if you bone her. Should I feel insecure about that?

3:
In the wiki/design document, it says there is/will be at some point save import functionality where one of the things tracked is whether Taoth escaped from Urta's balls to someday start a godfight with Keros. If you imported a save where Taoth never got out of there, would that affect Kinu's questline?

1. Even after binding your soul to Keros, you're still different from a naturally born kitsune since you have an individual soul instead of a gestalt one, even if it's no longer on speaking terms with your body. But yes, what Keros does is in part a handwave that lets various things that depend on the Champion having a soul still work without breaking the plot, by giving them the appearance of having one.

2. Eh, probably not.

3. The death of flash means that new players don't have (easy) access to the original CoC and save transfers were never actually implemented so what has basically happened is that the 'default' worldstate intended for players who didn't import a save simply became the worldstate. Here's what the public design doc has to say:
Players who don't import a save from CoC1 will be treated to the "default" world state: a Tainted futa champion eventually purified Lethice, and did all the quests so that the demons lost, but didn't kill any of them . Marae is alive and well, since the Factory was Destroyed . Taoth was rescued from Urta's balls.

The thing is, you are technically not full kitsune. While your body does lack "real" soul, your soul is still yours alone. You are not sharing it with other kitsune. Since,as keros explained it, other kitsunes are epty husks. What they have is one giant collective soul that is in some other plane. So since you are not part of it, you are not fully kitsune. So unlike them you do not need to feed. One part of Keroses deal is that in death you will become part of that collective.

1. As the others said, you're no a regular kitsune so the rules are different. Maybe not being a natural born one is the deciding factor. Or there's a planned change to those types of interactions that's just low on the priority list.

2. Yes. You should feel insecure. At least, I feel insecure about. Why is my soul not good enough for you Hatsu you beautiful, axe-wielding, woman?

3. Yeah I never realized the save import was never implemented either and I doubt they'll add it now that the writers (or at least Tobs what with Taoth) are writing with the default in mind. Probably a good thing cuz I never could beat Lethice. And if you can't beat em, well you know the rest.

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure the Taoth plotline isn't going to be a thing anymore.

I think that we just will not be able to side with him since no one is interested in writing it. We will face against him, if I remember right.
