So, recently I decided to begin a project to write a Galotian NPC who aims to modify their species in order to change the view society has on the goo-girls, but there's things I'd like to know more about aince they could help shape the character's motivations and personality.
- What are the physical capabilities of Galotians? From what the Codex says I know that the bigger they become the more impressive their mass shaping becomes, but how agile, precise in their shaping or strong they are isn't mentioned.
- Galotian PCs can change colors pretty easily to match another part of their body. Can natural Galotians shift colors at will or do they first need some of their cells to have their color changed by an outside source too?
- From what is seen of Celise and Roz in game we can tell Galotians are practically immune to corrosives and have very high resistances to physical damage as well as most forms of energy, with extreme cold being the only thing they're more physically suceptible to, but what else makes them good at survival? Since all their cells are just the same and very mutable I imagine they have full view in all directions, maybe even the ability to sense creatures by their temperature if they're sensitive enough. Codex also suggests they don't need to breathe, or at least not in the same way as most humanoids, but at the same time Roz is vulnerable to pheromones. Is it just Roz or do all Galotians need to take in air? Could they not expel the air with pheromones if it's the latter?
- Codex mentions the Galotian Rights Act. I imagine it was set so that goo people can't just be treated as little more than sexdroids or animals, but if possible I'd like to know more about what it entails.
- The Picardine cores are said to need a special chemical treatment to work. How well-known and expensive would that be? Beyond the capabilities of a normal person to purchase or something expensive but still accessible, like some specialty mods?
- Would Galotian DNA be easier or harder to modify artificially? I know their cells are extremely mutable, but I don't know if that's limited to their self bio-engineering or not. And if a smarter Galotian were to modify her cells in a specific way and then give those cells to another Galotian, woild the second be able of replicating that specific modification on her own?
