Question regarding Soulbound characters and the Redemption quest

So I know from previous conversations on the matter on the forums that the Redemption quest ends up a dead end for Soulbound characters, but is there any side benefit, 2nd place prize as it were, to get from it for Soulbound characters outside of enjoying the demon sex while it lasts? Does parts of the quest benefit other characters or maybe allow you to get something unique?

Basically is there any point to starting that quest as a Soulbound from a meta perspective?

If memory serves, once you're soulbound you have to actually tell Kass in her palace or she won't notice (since the gods gave you a very convincing decoy soul). Telling her sets your relationship from Romantic to Hostile.

I would assume that if you don't tell her, then at some point in the story she's going to want your soul and go "Hey wait where the fuck did it go", leading to a betrayal scene. No idea, though.

That I know, not what I am referring to. Previous conversations has Savin confirm that the Soulbind dead ends the redemption quest at one point - you can dead end it early by telling Kas, but there is a secondary nonavoidable point where it comes out. Not what I'm asking though, what I am asking is if there are secondary benefits, either for other characters or maybe in obtaining unique items or powers that you can only get by progressing the redemption quest regardless of whether you reach full completion.

Basically is there a point to the redemption quest for soulbind characters outside of a short and sweet romance with Kas and some extra lore tidbits.
