Question about Taoth

So I played and finished CoC(in revamp mod, if it matters), but didn't do all the content or interact with all the npc's. In the kiyoko doc it mentions Keros' rival, Taoth, apparently an escapee from Mareth. I never encountered Taoth or any of his content in CoC, so can someone give me a rundown on all the information we know about Taoth from CoC?
