Question About Orphanage Donations

Considering there are currently 30 Minotaurs and 1 Wyld Elf in Gwyn's Nursery, I figure I should do my fatherly duties and provide copious child support. I know you need 512,000 EC to fully upgrade the orphanage. And lower tiers of the Nursery need less money. So let's say I pay 10k. When the Nursery upgrades, will it provide multiple upgrades consistent with the amount of EC I put it, or am I wasting money by donating more than what is needed for the next tier of upgrade?

it tracks the total number iirc, so any leftover from the first upgrade will be applied to the second and so on

Oh, got it! So after donating a large amount, and letting the place upgrade, I just need to donate small amounts and let the upgrades cascade with each donation, yeah?

yeah it makes no difference if you donate the 512K all at once or over the course of several months iirc. I'm not sure how this works with the upgrade times though. But so long as you don't donate more than 512K your money there will not be wasted
