Pristine Wood not found?

So, I'm trying to figure out if this is a bug issue or a rng issue, or I missed some update on pristine wood - I have been searching the Old Forest for about two hours, with no pristine wood in sight. Didn't have the same issue with sturdy stone in the foothills, and I would think they would occur with the same regularity. .. I would someday like to get Niathan's house built (already did Sugo thing)

It took me less than five minutes to find some Pristine Wood. Just keep hitting that Explore button.

Drop rate for Pristine Wood is a bit higher when Sugo's quest is active. It still exists at other times, but the RNG is less favorable. Unfortunately, you've just got to keep grinding.

I can confirm there is, but I can't quite remember what the limit is, and I haven't worked up my attention span to play long enough again to get Kinu and Kiyoko out again.
But definitely a max storage limit for tve house, because it'll say sum'n along the lines of "looks like they don't need anymore" iirc.

I happened to drag Sugo's quest to fetch more items and now I have enough pieces to rebuild the wayfort XD

Yep, that's what the wiki says and what I assume my save file reached. I did ask for a QoL measure concerning those pesky numbers a while ago. I feel that Gwyn's nursery could do with a similar measure.
