Prevent Jojo to Joy

I have played Corruption of Champions for a while and i recently found a mod for it online (ya, pretty late). I played it for a while and I found the Bimbo Liquad(??) but now Jojo has taken it, drank from it and turns into Joy. I want to prevent this and if there is a way of doing that, Thanks for your time anyways!

To prevent turning Jojo into Joy either not keep Bimbo Liquer in stash (much ahrder as it then take spot in PC inv or when Jojo start talking about catching thief tell him that PC will personaly guard stash. Only when PC letting Jojo guard stash it will ends up with Joy.

Piggybacking off of this, I'm pretty sure I told Jojo I'd do it myself (I don't really remember, it's been a while). Leaving the liqueur in the chest doesn't seem to work, at least. Any way to get it to trigger it anyway?
