Pregnancy Issue?

Trying to guarantee pregnancy but for some reason its only worked twice. I have failed everytime with Sera and I bought every Fertile+ pill. Is there a way to guarantee pregnancy? Or am I doing it wrong and just need to wait instead of spamming sex?

Because pregnancy chance typically uses an exponential function of the form 1 - e^(-x), it's impossible to guarantee any pregnancy that isn't hard-coded to be guaranteed (e.g. most parasites, frostwyrms). You can increase the chance of success by having higher virility (as impregnator) or fertility (as impregnatee), but again due to using an exponential function, higher values give diminishing returns.

so should I lower my super high virility now? I took like 80 of those pills.

No, keep it high; "diminishing returns" just means that each 1% of fertility/virility still increases the chance of impregnation, but that increase gets smaller (though never to or below 0) as fertility/virility gets higher. As a random example, going from 100% to 200% fertility might give you a 10% increase in the chance of getting pregnant, while going from 500% to 600% might give a 5% increase, and 1,000% to 1,100% might only give 2% (for a total of +17%, higher when counting the other increases between those points). I've no idea if those values are even close to what would actually happen, but hopefully you get the idea.

I like to keep my fertility/virility at 3000 and my Steele gets pregnant or impregnates almost every time I thinks its like one out of three tries depending on the other character.
