Possibility of mobile game fitting the screen?

So I have been playing CoC 1 and 2 on mobile every now and then, but sometimes find it a little hard to read certain things. With the actual phone game, you can't zoom in etc. A work around I have used a few times is to just screen shot my phone and zoom in on the image. But that gets tedious.

Alternatively, there's so much unused space on the top and bottom of the screen. So I constantly think "would turning it sideways and fitting to screen like most other phone games work for this?"

TL;DR is can the phone game be set so that it fills the screen sideways like most phone games? Unsure how the coding works, or if this has already been addressed.

Does it? It doesn't rotate or fill for me... even tried just before typing this reply im case I was just doing something wrong. Even took this screen shot with my phone flipped sideways.

Do you have rotation enabled for your device? Another thing I've noticed with my phone is sometimes it helps make the rotation work if I minimize the app, hold the phone sideways, and then go back to the app.

Nah, still nothing. Even went into my settings to see if there was an option, and I am not finding one. It's a Galaxy Note 5, so it's a little old now. But all the other games I play auto turn sideways if/when needed. Even YouTube flips sideways when I full screen it and rotates to the side I have it set on. So that's why I originally asked lol. As for showing the bar at the bottom, no. I would need to take a picture with an entirely different device to do that. They aren't even buttons, but they also aren't part of the display.
