Pony/MLP parts and flags

I've been scouring the wiki over multiple years, and there's something that's always intrigued me: the Pony tag for Equine genitals and the MLP tag for legs. The leg tag specifically interested me because there's no flags, description, or info tied to them.

Genitals per race (Pony)
Leg (MLP)

I'm mostly just curious where they were used, or if they were used at all. I know some fated names and NPCs use funky stuff like this, but nowhere else Ive looked has anything. Anyone have any answers or clues?

I may or may not be misremembering, but I believe someone said long ago that TITs was built off of COC1's code and that those flags/parts were just leftovers in the code.

Oh, that's actually pretty cool! Whether it's true or not, I think I like that answer more than it just being put in the code later but never used. Thanks!

I was under the impression that MLP Flags were Silly Mode content. When the fix for Centaur overriding other Taur races was done, Jacques said it would effect Taur, Naga, Drider, MLP and other hybrid races, implying MLP was just intended content for the game.

Yes, things like the MLP legs and Nine-Tails perks were carryovers from the original CoC. If I remember correctly, for CoC, the Nine-Tails perks were implemented for a kitsune-specific race, and the MLP legs were a silly mode addition riding off of the emerging "brony" culture at the time. For TiTS, they are somewhat supported, just in case there is ever future content that wants to hook into them.

I know that the Nine-Tails perks are acknowledged by the Foxfire/Frostfire and Immunoboost items (primarily for changing accent colors) as well as tail type/count locking, but since there isn't a way to obtain or remove those perks, the code associated with them is currently commented out. And of course, the MLP legs and race variations are visible in the game, just not obtainable.

If content for them were written for the game, fit well in both theme and quality, and passes review, I'm sure they'll be easy to slot in--though I would think that access to MLP parts will probably be gated behind silly mode.
