Plantation Quest

I created a reasonably new account to go through the entire thing again but I can't get access to the plantation quest at all, Ive been at the Zil plantation and talked through all the options even did all the sex/sleep options but I'm not getting the email, does it matter how far I am through the story? (I am level 5 and finished with the main quest on the planet.

Thanks for reading/responding in advance I know I may be extremely stupid but I can't figure it out on my own and none of the threads here detail it enough for me to get there.

You have to be level six, I'm pretty sure.

I recently did up a wiki page for the Plantation Quest, which hopefully has all the basic information you need.

As to your specific enquiry, you need to have completed the Tarkus main mission; you'll get an email from Darnock shortly after. You aren't stupid for not getting this, it's just a necessary gate for a quest that's slightly tougher than that.
