Hi! I'm sorry for being so absent lately.

To start: I've updated Raizel with over 20,000 words! This completes her final sex scene, where you rail her - if she likes you enough, she lets you pound her from behind (how is that possible with a snake? Read it and find out!) - and it also completes, front to back, a short sidequest where Raizel gets sick and you can (keyword) nurse her back to health. It also includes an exit ramp for if you just want to be fuckbuddies with Raizel and don't want to deal with shit like character arcs or progression and just want her snick and snussy; it also adjusts her progression as you visit her more and she gets more and more comfortable with you, eventually even expecting your visits and regretting it when you have to leave; and a bunch of other shit that I'm sure I'm forgetting.

She takes a deep breath through her nose – then coughs, the phlegm catching in her throat and blocking the airflow. That answers that for you, but she responds anyway. “Fine, fine. I’m sick.”

What are her symptoms?

“You’re the doctor; you tell me.”

She’s correct: you’re the doctor. What you do could, in some perspectives, be technically called ‘miracles’, but you are <b>not</b> a mind reader. You’re here to help her, but she needs to help you help her, and she can start by not making this difficult.

She doesn’t answer.

You continue: alternatively, you can leave. You can’t help someone that doesn’t want it.

“Alright, alright, fuck off,” she says, droning her Fs, “quit it with the sanctimonious shit already.”

It’s telling that, the second you suggested – or, well, threatened – to leave, she immediately caved. She wants you there. But for as much progress as you thought you were making with her, her emotional walls are still up, at least partially. Maybe, if treatment goes well, she’ll open up to you a little more.

“Look,” she tries again, resting her elbow on her tail and her cheek on her hand as she stares down at you. Then, again, she hesitates. Despite her best efforts, she just can’t spit the words out. She sighs through her nose, closes her eyes, and clenches her jaw – she’s giving herself a stern talking to.

“Thank you,” she eventually says.

That was a whole lot of effort to say two words… which means that she wanted to say <b>more</b> than that, but, for whatever reason, for all the strain and difficulty she put into it, she simply could not. She <b>wanted</b> to say more than that, but something inside of herself wasn’t allowing it.

Growing up alone, on the streets, having to fight for every little inch, every little scrap – it’s weird and awkward when you have to admit that you need help, and it’s difficult to thank someone for coming to your rescue. Even today, even after all the progress you’ve made, those two little words still sit lumpy in your throat. You get the amount of mental fortitude it took to say them… and you get what it is that she <b>isn’t</b> saying.

So, rather than presume and force her hand, you respond like a normal person – something neither of you are – would. You say ‘you’re welcome’.|You can’t imagine what sort of mental hurdles she had to overcome just to say those two little words. She looked like she was beating herself up, or like she was trying to swallow something that was refusing to go down. All of that effort, just to have some common decency.

Not that you say any of that. It clearly took Raizel a lot of effort just to get as far as she had, and you don’t want to make her uncomfortable by expecting her to go farther. So, instead, you simply say ‘you’re welcome’ in response.]

Raizel’s eyes open slightly, and she lets out the stale air that she had been holding in her chest through her nose. A tiny smile even begins to creep on the corners of her lips.

Her candle is already lit, the dim light showing you the way past the detritus of her ramshackle home. You hear a particular sound coming from the common room, where she lives and sleeps – a melodic, low-pitched, rhythmic sound, accompanied by something large, heavy, and broad going back and forth across the floor. She’s humming a little song to herself while she’s doing menial housework.

You announce yourself, and the sounds immediately stop. “Come in!” she says cheerily – then clears her throat. You enter the common room, and there Raizel is, ‘standing’ upright, her hands busy on the rags of her clothes as she tries to make herself more presentable for you. When she lifts her red, glowing eyes up to meet yours, they’re accentuated by a warm smile, the kind where, if she had skin, she’d almost certainly be blushing just from the joy of smiling.

“Hi, hey!” she says. Then, she clears her throat again, and she brings her hands to her face, patting down her cheeks. She does her best to reset herself, to make it less obvious that she’s happy to see you. “Yeah, hey,” she says again, her voice resuming its usual, lower tone. “Come in if you’re gonna, or whatever.”

She crosses her arms and looks away, her eyes dropping to the floor. She sees a dusty spot that she missed and swipes her tail across it, trying to make it as clean as it can be. Without turning her head, she lifts her eyes back up to yours, and when they meet, she smiles again – just to brings her hand up and pat down her cheeks to force it away once more.

And being with Raizel overnight, but <b>not</b> having sex, might be a little weird at first, but you two can make it into a slumber party! You don’t know how many of those she’s ever had. If she doesn’t know how to have one, you can help her out, it’s easy! You two just get into your sleepy clothes – or you can get naked, that works too, but that kinda implies sexytimes, and slumber parties don’t usually get sexy – and then you two play games and gossip and talk until you fall asleep. Maybe have some snacks, too, if she has any. You can head back to Hawkethorne right now and pick some up, if she wants. It’s not that far away – in fact, there’s a Waystone nearby that–

At that, you straighten your back. Raizel <b>likes</b> you! That’s good news! You like her too. You would tell her that, but she told you to shut the fuck up, and her hand is over your mouth anyway.

Second, Tall Lyric is now in the game, and has been for a little while, as of this post. Their reception has actually been very encouraging: you can buy individual updates off Patreon and I'm told that the Lyric update has done exceptionally well. I'm glad that people are enjoying them! It's very heartening to see everyone taking such delight with my work, it makes it all worth it (although the money helps). Just today, I submitted a short document full of QoL changes, hopefully to be implemented by next public patch.

Third, yes! Agnimitra has finally gotten her first standalone expansion. This has been a long time coming and has been sitting in the queue for a while. I know Agni isn't quite as popular as Lyric (the comparative dearth of content not helping things), but hopefully you enjoy the expansion on her character and backstory just as much. And the scene where she gets into an incestuous threesome with her great x17 granddaughter.

And for the record, yes, I'd like to one day complete the trifecta by giving Agni an ice-based set, lol

I don't want to get too into the weeds, for obvious reasons, but things have been a little turbulent for me. The new medication helps, and obviously, I am still working on Raizel and everything, but I'm having a hard time keeping pace, especially with the output I used to have pre-lockdown levels.

I've been thinking of maybe trying to adjust to update once every Sunday or something. Maybe try and stream myself writing every now and again, too, that's sometimes something that writers here do.

None; I just let you use either so that you don't accidentally lock yourself out of the content if you chose one over the other.

Congrats on Tall Lyric - I liked the Arona vs Lyric talk. Tall Lyric doesn't lay eggs anymore? and I assume the public scenes stay only with small Lyric? or you plan something for future?

Tall Lyric's pregnancy being weird is a thing that's come up a handful of times in Discord. Be sure to check the Bug Reports subforum and add anything you can to the issue. Apparently, Tall Lyric's Feed Electrum scenes are a bit buggy, too.

I didn't want Tall Lyric to have more content than Small Lyric did at base (plus the futa expack), so no, Tall Lyric does not have any exhibitionism scenes, or orgies with kobolds, or April Fools, or anything else. But now that Tall Lyric is finally implemented, there's nothing stopping anyone from commissioning more content of them.

I've been thinking of maybe trying to adjust to update once every Sunday or something. Maybe try and stream myself writing every now and again, too, that's sometimes something that writers here do.

I think getting yourself on a set schedule of once a week like on Sunday, or maybe even every other week will be good for you as it sounds like pacing yourself has been helpful, but I also think adding a little structure can be helpful as well. Goals are helpful for mental health, gives you something to focus on. Don't burn yourself out, but don't snuff out the candle either. Let it slow burn.

The training is skippable, but the initial scene isn't, once you talk to tall Lyric after the tf, they basically go into heat and dom you instinctively, then you can expand upon that in a later convo to make them dom for real.

So, Lyric does not "automatically initiate a sex scene"; sex only happens if you click the Sex button. Tall Lyric is dommy the first time you have sex. I'm asking if the issue is that the PC is on bottom or if it's the fact that Lyric has a different attitude, both of which fall under the umbrella of "PC as the sub". Because if it's a matter of positioning, it could be easily and effortlessly addressed just by having a different scene play.

The issue isn't and has never been about "refusing Lyric," it's been about how the PC reacts to Lyric's personality. Which is why I want to know if it's the act - Lyric physically imposing on the PC - or the attitude - the dialogue and demeanour Lyric has towards the PC, and, again, presumably, following the wording of the complaint, the issue is the former.

Like, I'm not trying to be difficult here. I'm looking for clarification.

To be honest I'm not sure to see the problem. If it's just an introduction and after we have the choice them is not a problem to me. However, I see it when the patch out on public so, I cannot have a proper judgment on this. But if it's just one time well is not a problem I think.

It's a good think however too see Lyric a little more "autonomous". I think, I like see an evolution with the little kobold (not for dom, I must be clear) but observe an evolution to see her/his become more a mate, rather than a "fuck tool", it's a good think, she's more "evolved" (emotionally), more interresting so, I'm not see where is the problem.

If I remember on Tits, we have a similar situation with Reaha when we transform her, if we not enough strong she take the lead and dom you. And i'm not see many people have a problem with this, with lyric we have the choice after that. so it's a problem but not a problem when I see the subject.

And I'm not speak for Brienne, with her, after transform, you havn't the choice, when she decide too fuck you, you lost an half-day with her and make her pregnant in 80% time. Brienne have a different fuck scene but in the fact, you havn't the choice.

And Kyoko is not better when she's in heat even you have the choice to do it or not. So my question is, when we see the situation, Lyric is not the first pnj who do that, so what's the problem?
