Went to talk to Penny upon landing on Mhen'ga for the first time, instantly got this.

I encountered the same problem however after I had already left the planet and came back for the recruitment quest managed to save 1 tile before the crash happened so its basically a dead save I'll include it so you can encounter it yourselves just move left after loading where you're supposed to see the trapped smuggler.
Also if you managed to fix this save I'd love it back to continue on plz

This is due to the penny.short bug. Another coder has already fixed it for the next build.
