Hey everyone!

I took a much needed week of vacation this month. I always forget that I need one in April every year but I managed to remember when I started to slow down in my work. I now feel invigorated and I managed to catch up on a bunch of chores that had fallen to the wayside. ^_^

While I am putting the finishing touches on News desk, my wife has been hard at work and pushed out a bunch more CGs for Soldier’s life. Each one more lewd than the last for your viewing pleasure!

Next month will most likely be the last one for News desk. I am working on the last of my priorities and recently downloaded a platform to test android 15. When I get to it, that should be the last of that problem!

Hey everyone!

This month, I played Soldier’s life front to back twice to make the list of things to change and add. One of the biggest things to add will be much more events during the sorties. Twice or even three times the amount of events would really hit the spot.

When I started to make changes, I also realized how old Soldier’s life’s code was. Lol! I had to spend some time updating some stuff and there is probably more to do at a later date.

My lovely wife did a lot of work for us. Finished the stock and the Walk around town CGs.

Next month, I am going to check out steam to start that process and will also do more work on Soldier’s life. It will be more on the game rather than the back end from now on. Will most likely update some more code too.

Hey everyone!

This month went pretty well! I continued to update and upgrade Soldier’s life and my lovely wife made us some more CGs. ^_^

I made a lot of little changes to game balance. Especially when it comes to army morale. I found that that value didn’t change enough during sorties so I tweaked it.

Another big change is that now, whenever you fail a skill roll, you’ll get a small amount of XP in that skill as Payton learns from his mistakes.

Next month, I am going to take some time off for my birthday but around that, I’m going to start adding new events.

I am also going to start putting things on Steam!

Hey everyone!

This update is all about events! I found that they repeated too much when you did a sortie with your army so I added a bunch to give variety.

Like usual, each battle events have their own unique challenges to overcome, the other events make the morale move up or down more to make the stat matter and I even got to write some more smut for some of them. It had been a while that I got to write since I’ve been updating older games so I wondered if I would still be up for it but I am proud of the results. ^_^

My lovely wife has been hard at work and got us a bunch more CGs to enjoy the game even more.

Next month, I’m probably going to do a few more events but I’ll also continue down the list of fixes and tweaks I have for the game.

Hey everyone!

In this build, I was focused a lot on the fighting. More battle events and some more information. I also added more skill rolls in the battle events to make it more interesting and make the stats count for more.

The hard part was the Vanora battle events. I wanted Vanora’s degradation to feature in the battles too. It will also make you grinding her stats down worth more. At the start, I wrote actual scenes (6 per event) but when I played, it was too big. It grinded the battles to a crawl. So I cut it down to the essence of it to let your imagination take it from there. ^_^

The rest of the build is quality of life updates for making the game smoother and my lovely wife’s awesome art.

Next month, I’m going to finish the battle stuff. Saraid will have a hand in this. ^_^ I will then move on to more changes in the main game. Soldier’s life gold is already approaching the end! 2 to 3 more builds should do it. For the art too. My lovely wife only has around 10 more CGs to go. We’re almost there!

Hey everyone!

I finished up the battle events tweaks and added the last one. A special battle event if you have Saraid with you. Yes! You can take her into battle now. After you’re done buying all the equipment upgrades for your troops and have seen her 3 scenes, you can now convince her to go into battle.

I also added some more quality of life things to the game and added an extra option to the sortie menu. You now have to say how much money you’ll bring onto the expedition. It will be the only money you’ll be able to use out there (+ the loot you get) but it will also count as loot at the end when you decide the troops’ cut so plan accordingly.

Next month, it will be a ton of small details that need to be fixed up or tweaked. From minor graphic stuff to tiny story tightening. I will also take some time to remake the builds of all the other games. There’s been a few updates to security and compatibility so I’ll make sure they all work well.

Hey everyone!

The first order of business is that all the finished games are now in the 25$ tier. This was done in preparation of putting them on Steam. The current game I’m working on will remain at the normal prices and Corrupting the priestess will always be free since it’s the taste test. ^_^

For this build, I did a ton of small changes to polish the game. I also upped the frequency of helpful events during a sortie since they were getting drowned by the new crop of events.

I worked on the morale system to make it more of a player in the field. I found that after you get it to ten, it would usually stay up there all the time, making it useless. It now fluctuates a bit more and is something to consider when you make choices.

And the last big thing is more scenes! It was pretty hard to write them since Soldier’s life is an older game. I made a couple of projects since I worked on this one so my writing style has advanced. Taking that in mind, I had to read and re-read the surrounding scenes to make sure I was matching them in style.

The new ending is for players who don’t like to share. If you got Vanora to less than 100 selfworth and clicked on less than 3 of the share options (In the field included) you’ll get the girlfriend ending. Since the checks were just installed, if you have an end save already, you can get to it immediately.

Next month, I will be tackling one of my nemesis: music. Hehe. I always take a long time listening and relistening to a bunch of stuff before making a decision. After that, I’ll finish up on the small stuff and we’ll have another gold game finished.
