Patreon and Steam update speed difference

This is a simple question, but I was just wondering what the update speed difference is between the Patreon and Steam versions of the game. Obviously, Patreon is gonna be faster as the team is just sharing the new batch of files on something they themselves host and Steam is an entirely different process for updates, but I wanted to know what the usual wait is since I got the Steam copy and have my updates set up so they don't auto-update and ruin anything I have modded

I'll definitely try to support the authors and artists once my boss learns how a direct deposit works, trust me. Been playing public builds for the past few years and have never once been disappointed so I'd say its well deserved
