Other characters from CoC1?

little late on it but I just found the memory scene where you play as Kinu and defend your home and couldn't help but notice that Raphael seems to be the exact same guy from the first game and was wondering if he is and if there are plans for other characters from CoC1 to make an appearance.

He's not the same character but a deconstruction of them, and in general there will be no returning characters. The Observer was even more explicit about it here, while also naming the exception that proves the rule.

There are some cameos in one part of the game and some sly references if you look for them, but there isn't going to be serious crossover.

I always had this doubt if the Raphael from CoC1 and 2 were the same!
Since, to date, we haven't found any other foxmorph in the game, I thought Raphael had come to Savarra with Taoth, but apparently, what we faced on Kinu's mission is a parallel version of him in Savarra!

it would even be very funny (but extremely improbable) if, in the continuation of the kinu mission, we faced him again accompanied by a group of women whom he seduced and deceived in the past (which, if he is as scoundrel as his version in Mareth, could be a small army), all thirsty for revenge involving iron, fire and possibly a minotaur size dildo with sand!
