opinions on cybernetics?

personally i think there are a lot of interesting ideas here, especially some of the sexier ones. but for me, since i follow the story, theres not really anything to do with them by that point in the game? by reaching dhaal I've already done all the side quests and sexed all the npcs so i wont see them in action until more planets come. even with the synthwomb its too late since you've probably already gotten pregnant 2 billion times if your characters into that. i think there could be a lower levelled vendor on tarkus or something.
what are your thoughts overall?

I could see something this being implemented with a small boost to kinetic and heat resistance after shielding with a negative hit to sexiness. You know, on account of having someone strip down a suit of combat armor and bolting it to your skeleton.

Honestly? No.

Cybernetics shouldn't be like getting a transformative like Hornitol. Its a permanent change to the body, you're implanting something, or even permanently removing something. Paige mentions that she could have gotten cybernetic eyes, she didn't want copper wire instead of optical nerves. Cybernetics should be a last resort, not a fashion statement.

But cybernetics should be a late game addition, its something that will permanently affect Steele, and right now on Dhaal, Steele is at a point where they're going to be getting into tougher scrapes and battles, especially in Tainted Space. That's when Steele should need some ace up their sleeve, not before.

Eh, I personally was thinking about the two distinct categories. Combat and utility. Also, implants aren't necessarily cybernetics. I'm trying to get a heavy skin weave with passive health regeneration up in here you slut. Stop making everything about your womb.

I realized long ago the only way to topple Meadow Steele is to become a goo with three synthwombs. Initial trials are promising. With over five thousand Rahn born within a six month contract of premium breeder. Millions of credits was made.

That's always the case of content added to the newest location, right? There's still plenty of Dhaal left, including boss fights, I'm sure.

+10 primary stat is effectively 2 levels. Granted, combat is easy enough that you go from a stomp to a bigger stomp, so it's not as impactful as one might hope. The blog did say this was the 'first batch', so most likely there will be more later. I don't know if there are more actually planned, or if they're just open to submissions.

They might also be trying to avoid making Cybernetics mandatory.

Has Prostitute Pro been fixed? As of last Public, it doesn't actually restore Energy, as far as I could tell.

Breed N Brute isn't fully implemented yet though. It works on Dhaal. I couldn't get it to fire by doing lovemaking sex with Sera.
Somebody is gonna have to go back and make a check for all possible creampie orgasms. Or restrict it to combat creampies?

The steroid aug is good for a melee merc tho. The willpower loss is minimal. Especially with a signet of bravery. 65 physique, 55 aim, 63 willpower. Dancing flash blade does 34.25 kinetic and electric damage. Lust defense is 12.6.

Tried myself lol. It doesn't work on Paige or Sera. Even her foot warmer wake up call.
Does also work on Penny over the desk.

I wish there were more cybernetic augs, cosmetic ones for appearances like Sera's horns or more cybergoth transformations. I'd kill to have my Steele kitted out with sub-dermal bioweave that regenerates health and your skin breaks out in this cool bleeding effect that shows glowing energy lines pulsing beneath your skin. Or maybe cybernetic optics that replaces your Codex and an AI assistant. Replacing parts of your body with bionic limbs would look great. Although I think TF items are going to have to be disabled for these to work.

I'm still on Uveto and haven't progressed further so I don't know what implants are even available to make an informed opinion. But these are just the cosmetic ideas for now.

Current wish is to have utility mods for the male body type. Given two new cybernetics have been added though, this seems a given. For now, Prostitute Pro is safe to install without body modification.

This came about as a result of trying to get Cybernetic Synchronization perk from Goblinola and get the maximum intelligence benefit with two implants. I wonder if there are still plans to implement this perk or if it has been scrapped since there already is an implant that raises intelligence.

As large as some racks get or can get in game. It would certainly provide quite a bit of frontal coverage.
I was just amusing myself thinking of Steele being tied up and interrogated (which is why I really got aphro saliva, a hidden weapon on what otherwise looks to be just a pure human, I used human treats to remove the few treated features).
Then Steele unveils their hidden weapons.

There is a picture icon just to the right of the add smilies icon. If you hover over the icon it should say images. Click that. Add the image url with paste or something. If it worked it should be inserted into your post.

Cybernetics are certainly not last resort...
But they are a permanent solution. harder to get then taking a pill, harder to lose then taking a pill. But having some access to certain ones on Tarkus would be nice. It is the Gabilani thing afterall... However, I feel like we get to many Gabilani at once right now, and would probably enjoy if whoever would do it on Tarkus would just have Gabilani assistants/nures/businesspartners and themself be something from the long list of species the codex lists...

I recall a few comments from Savin and Fen saying that they weren't implementing cybernetic limbs due to some issues. as sad as that is, I'd hope at least some things could be implemented, like a synthetic cunt-tail (the gabilani chemist has one) or a prehensile synth-tongue.

Really? That's unfortunate if true. Hopefully that changes, Akane's shock limbs during her scenes were really really cool and want it!

I assume the best way would be to lock cybernetic limbs as 'can not be transformed, add a perk or hidden status saying as much and when something overrides it via brute force (like galo max turning you into goo, or Tentatool doing its original purpose, for examples), give a spit how it "'Clonk', your mechanical limb is on the floor. The strong transformatives aided by your advanced nanobots have quite literally regrown your limb. You can get a complemantairy amount of credits for returning the mechanical limb to the seller.".

Or at the very least this sounds like the version that would require the least rewrites...
