I noticed recently that there isn't a gender-neutral pro noun option when the option for preferred pronouns is offered. I was wondering if such a change could be made, or if it's already in the works.

Gender neutral they/them pronouns will probably not be for the PC at all as that can mess with stuff tht relies on you identifying as the binary (I think this nb thing was brought up before in the "What do you want" thread too). NPCs I can probably see it work for but idk.
