Was checking out Mhen'ga and I noticed that randomly the orange section of the forest finally was highlighted as- well, orange. This has never happened on any of my playthroughs. Is there supposed to be something special here that also shows up at level 6?

Currently playing a level 9 kineticist, just one-shot Dane after grinding over a dozen Tarratch Slavers. Only have cheats on so I could avoid fucking Penny(because I really just want the XP boost). Also on an unrelated note, the add item menu lists the Light Thong you can get from FIRST-14 as HLThong, is it meant to be an early HardLight Thong drop? If so that would be nice, saves having to travel to Tavros just to protect your virginity and still take advantage of the Syri Intelligence Exploit.

There are two kinds of 'hardlight' underwear. Underwear made of hardlight and hardlight-enabled strap on, which can be otherwise normal. The Light Thong is pretty clearly the former and is just meant as early high sexiness underwear. Especially since they made Discount Lion-Os just so you couldn't farm credits on FIRST-14 too easily.

Also, the Add Item Cheat includes every single item in the game. Including, until recently, Dev/Test items that would crash if you actually tried to use them.

You have to fuck Penny in order to do the Oxonium Hunt via her recruitment quest, which grants you an encouner with three mining bots and two zil traps. These are HUGE XP boosts in the early game, and cut down on time lost grinding Vanae... if you can survive both encounters that is. It's easily 10x more deadly than any other encounter on Mhen'ga if you're not completely stat buffed to hell and back.

Also doesn't answer the question, why the orange? Is something there?

It merely reinforces how different it is compared to the rest. It doesn't really need to denote any other purpose. Sometimes, a spade is just a spade.

I think the Treated Zil only appears in that area, but that wouldn't be much of a justification for orangifying the map.

Actually, the Treated Zil was a contributing factor in deciding to add another color to the map. There was an old work-request to add clarity to select areas on the map because certain enemies only spawn on those specific tiles. It seemed simple enough to implement, so I knocked it out while I could. A similar treatment was done for the Oil Beach areas of Tarkus as well since only the LG-BT enemy spawns on those tiles.

There was an old work-request to add clarity to select areas on the map because certain enemies only spawn on those specific tiles. It seemed simple enough to implement, so I knocked it out while I could. A similar treatment was done for the Oil Beach areas of Tarkus as well since only the LG-BT enemy spawns on those tiles.

I see. Any plans to make it spawn? I've been wandering in that area for hours IRL, and it may have something to do with my planet progression because I've just not been able to encounter the Treated Zil despite getting Tarratch Slaver encounters(which spawn at level 6 even when under-equipped and statted).
