My problems with the game in the recent version. No, I don't need help from other players, I...

... wanted to hear someone else's opinion, preferably someone from the development team or at least someone who is aware of seemingly unreasonable situations with balance and the nerf of things.

For some time (approximately since version 0.8.65) I did not play TITS (I just periodically launched new versions to get acquainted with the changes) and about the same I did not start a new game. Yesterday I started.

Collected 10,000 credits (for buying Reaha's contract and armor). Returned home (to Tavros Station). I was going to buy a Steele Tech Suit but I was displeased to see that it was nerfed, only +10 shields. Yes, it costs 4500 now, not 5300, but I find it unreasonably expensive anyway. Got to Tarkus ... Smart Jacket And Pants have the old price (1056) and with a fourfold difference in cost it is better than the Steele Tech Suit!
1. Only I do not understand the logic of the nerfing of the armor of the Steele Corporation?
2. What, then, is the weaker and cheaper armor not nerfed? Or is it that Smart Jacket And Pants can be bought two planets further? Then why not just bring back the old situation where the Steele Tech Suit was only sold by Anno (who sells for the old-new price of 5830)?

On Tarkus, after the fight with Sydian Cuntboy got Sneezing Tits. Something two of the greatest famous doctors did not provide cure services and I had to wait more than six hours for Bianca to appear (It's so good that she was on this planet!), Because looking for her on my own would lead to the progression of the disease and the transcendental growth of the breasts.

3. I understand that Dr. Badger, in principle, is foolish to ask to heal from a disease like the ones she CREATES. But why doesn't Dr. Lash heal ?! Flying to another planet in search of help from Bianca or the Medical Droid sounds kind of stupid...

I fought with Kaska, was disarmed for several turns despite my sixth level and the corresponding development stats (physics and reflexes were 24 each, which is practically the limit for the fifth level of Kaska), my drone had to finish it off.

4. Are saving rolls possible against her disarming? If so, in principle it shouldn't have disarmed me for several moves.

I got the eighth level, visited Syri, raised my intellect. I decided to visit Aina and met Shizuya and her crew on the way. Got Furpies (how?!). Since there are no sexually transmitted diseases on civilized planets, there are no doctors either, and I had to return to the previous planet. I met Syri right after landing and had to have sex with her.

5. Only I see the lack of doctors on every planet silly and inconvenient?
6. Only I see the problem in the fact that a sick character can have sexual contacts without any problems with the consent of the partner and morality? Okay, some asshole might just not care about it, but what about a nice personality character?

On all three planets I met Kattom Osgood and saw that he still always offers only five types of weapons, which means that it is impossible to get the Hirudo Devourer at level 9 or 10.

7. There is no information about whether this annoying situation will be changed?

I went to Zheng Shi, fought with the orbital group, and upon landing I was attacked by Urbolg.

8. "Urbolg will not attack you if you enter the station after defeating FERRUS, BURNIE, and GASMASK." Do I somehow misunderstand these lines?

I haven't made it any further yet, but even these problems existing not the first version haunt me...

1. Steele Tech Suit has 5 Evasion and 6% more Burning Resistance. I agree that's probably not worth the price difference. There are actually 3 prices for Steele Tech Suits: Vahn, Synphia and Anno (cheap to expensive).

3. Dr. Lash doesn't heal, but he can make you immune to SSTDs. Given that you have a spaceship and can generally fly wherever, whenever, I suspect you're expected to go back. Not necessarily being able to remove SSTDs immediately makes them matter more. And there are always ways to reverse the effects.

4. Most Status attacks are an opposed Stat check*, but Disarming Shot seems to lack that, unless I'm missing something. It seems to be a Hit/Miss check. I guess having a high Evade might work? I definitely agree Disarm effects are annoying, since there's not much you can do about it, especially if it disables your special attacks.
Attacker Stat/2 + (1-20) >= Defender Stat/2 + 10
Status attacks do not necessarily use the same stat for Attacker and Defender: Overcharge Stun is Intelligence vs Physique, for example.
5. Mhen'ga and Myrellion have V-Ko and Vi, respectively. Dr. Lash can give permanent immunity (which I always pick up as soon as I arrive on Tarkus). Zheng Shi is a Pirate hideout. I don't see doctors as being common there. Dhaal also has a Nursedroid. The weirder thing is getting Furpies from Shizuya (or Aina). Are you sure you did, or did you just get the notification afterward? It has an incubation period, after all.

6. It might be worth a shift toward Mischievous/Hard, but if you have a disease, I think it's reasonable to expect the player to role-play a little and be responsible about sexual activity while infected.

7. Kattom Osgood's inventory depends on his location. He only sells the Hirudo Devourer on Uveto. Fun fact: He used to show up on New Texas, where he sold Savicite.
The good news: He sells it regardless of level.
The bad news: He has more possible guns than slots on Uveto, so which ones he has is randomly determined when you meet him. I admit it's annoying to have to save-scum to get him to sell the weapon you want when you meet him if you don't want to travel another ~200 squares. You just have to get there. Either get the Myrellion Probe, which will prompt Shade to give you the Coordinates or do the Ice Queen Distress Call (that can appear at level 6). Doing Ice Queen before Kara's 2nd Quest prevents you from getting the (currently useless) Broken Psi Amp.

8. I'd guess the Wiki is in error. As I recall, I've always had to fight him either way (password or combat).

I constantly forget about her. Perhaps this is because she is located farthest ...

3. Dr. Lash doesn't heal, but he can make you immune to SSTDs.

1. It seems to me in some way too simple. Pay 10,000 once and forget about diseases forever.
2. This requires a fairly large amount for a low-level character (yes, I remember that only on Mhen'ga can earn more than 20,000), which may not be at hand. And I did not check what will happen to the current disease after receiving immunity.

Status attacks do not necessarily use the same stat for Attacker and Defender: Overcharge Stun is Intelligence vs Physique, for example.

Thank you, I remember about that, you told me once that this skill tests my intelligence against the physics of the enemy.

But the doctors are absent from Tavros Station, New Texas, Uveto, Canadia. And character can either get infected on the way to them (Star Viper Pilot) or it is too late to discover the synptoms. In addition, I still find it deeply doubtful that there are no doctors on Zheng Shi. Not to mention the fact that it creates inconvenience to the players.

The weirder thing is getting Furpies from Shizuya (or Aina). Are you sure you did, or did you just get the notification afterward? It has an incubation period, after all.

I myself was surprised by this. I flew to Mhen'ga from Tarkus, where my only sexual partner was Sydian Cuntboy (new character, wiki page is actually empty, so I was wondering if he had a name and if he could get pregnant). I slept to raise the level, went to talk to Syri, then trained with Tanis, flew to visit Aina, and it was on the way that my first meeting with Shizuya took place. After it or arriving at Tavros Station (I don't remember whether the journey continued or the ship hung in space and I again chose the destination), the character was either sick or began to show symptoms of illness and I had to go back. I would have thought of Star Viper Pilot, but by that time I didn’t seem to have bought a new ship (let alone upgrades), but only saved money for it, and sponsoring the Shekka's project did not help at all.

6. It might be worth a shift toward Mischievous/Hard, but if you have a disease, I think it's reasonable to expect the player to role-play a little and be responsible about sexual activity while infected.

It is in the consistency and roleplaying aspects of the problem. I land on Mhen'ga, I immediately meet Syri and only two buttons - "Get Fucked" and "Fuck her". No "I'm not in the mood / state, Darling", no "Oh, you don't look good, I'll go then, meet me when you feel better." A similar situation is also possible, if my memory serves me, with Tetra and Mika, at the meeting, it seems, you can also choose a partner, but not refuse.

The bad news: He has more possible guns than slots on Uveto, so which ones he has is randomly determined when you meet him. I admit it's annoying to have to save-scum to get him to sell the weapon you want when you meet him if you don't want to travel another ~200 squares.

Ah, so his assortment depends not only on my level (and place of course), but also on the random? Thank you, I already flew to Uveto for Hirudo Devourer once and found that he was not for sale there. Thought it was level ten ...

Thank you, I already met Zaalt, back at level 6. And already became a lover of Shadow.upload_2020-9-7_14-24-48.png

1. It's a quality of life thing. Some players will be certain they don't want to bother with SSTDs. Dr. Lash provides a way to opt-out. The procedure also halves your current Fertility and Virility, so it's not completely without side-effects.

2. Any current diseases should be removed on gaining Immunity. And by 'should' I mean will, if it's working properly. (Just tested with Furpies, was removed immediately. Any exception is probably a bug.)

I don't think it's supposed to be possible to get SSTDs from non combat encounters. If I'd suggest any change at all, it would be to make the Immuno-Booster also cure diseases. That would make it more useful than just removing Cunt-Snakes, Mimbranes and Cock-Vines (all of which are easily avoidable). After all, when recruiting Eitan, one of the things he wants is 'medicine' and the Immuno-Booster is the only item he'll accept.

Tavros does have a medical deck, as seen with Paige's eye replacement, but we can't go there normally. Maybe if someone wrote it. The Pirate gangs might have doctors, but I'd expect them to largely not be treating the general public. Maybe once the Command Deck is added. Pitch the idea to William, perhaps (last I'd heard, he was the one writing it). Uveto, I'll give you. It'd make sense for Dr. Lessau to be able to cure your diseases, as the head of Steele Tech Biomedical. It would be fairly easy to write, too, I'd think. He'd probably be annoyed that his microbots weren't able to protect you from the disease. Unfortunately, I don't think Fenoxo is accepting submissions right now.
I will say examinations by the Nursedroids are free. Might be a good idea to get yourself scanned before leaving the planet.

Are you talking abut the scene where Syri gives you her panties? As it's a one-off (and important character/relationship development), I don't think it was written with being able to back out in mind. There should be a back button for most scenes. The first encounter with Tetra and Mica (in town, I don't know about the encounters at Burt's) definitely allows you to refuse without sex.
Thinking about it, Kiro's Distress Call is similar. Sex, repair the Milker (Tech Specialist only) or leave (removing her from the game permanently). No option for SSTD infected individuals.

Your level is irrelevant for Kattom's inventory. Only the planet he's on (Uveto is the only place he has more possible guns than slots). If he's not selling the Hirudo, you could also pick up the NaN Deconstructor, which also has Vampiric. 6 less damage, but 1 more Crit and no HP penalty. It's also a lot cheaper.

Either yesterday I got infected from Stella, or the duration of the incubation period was increased, it seemed that I flew between planets for more than a week (I tested different ships with different upgrade options). I will need to verify this more precisely ...

Yes, that would be great...

Very bad. What's the matter?

Yes, this is the scene. It is repeated very often, though not always.

It is very good. I thought it was like Crazy Karl and Shekka - it depends on my level.

P.S. I'm just a master of timing, yes. For three days I could not find a little time to write an answer ...

I'm not sure what you mean, here. If you are asking why Fenoxo likely isn't accepting submissions, it's because he just spent the entirety of July and most of August reviewing 2 years worth of submissions. I don't think he wants to do that again for awhile. Of course, when he does accept submissions again, he'll just get flooded by the things people were working on in the meantime...

Yes, this is the scene. It is repeated very often, though not always.
I didn't know it was repeatable. Then again, I don't do a whole lot of backtracking, and after that scene, she moves to Uveto for her Quest once you hit level 9. Thinking about it, there's an unskippable sex scene when you meet her at the Maglev Station...

Also, Steele's microsurgeons prevent them from passing on any SSTDs they're infected with.
Where is that stated? Being able to contract a disease but not pass it on is a neat trick.

Upon the Codex identifying what SSTD you're infected with:
Your Codex beeps, alerting you that you’ve been infected with The Sneezing Tits! While your microsurgeons will be working full time to prevent you from spreading the virus around, sneezing {may/will} cause you to gain {extra} breast tissue... Unless you get it treated, of course.
You barely notice the beep of your Codex warning that you’ve come down with locofever and that your microsurgeons will be busy battling it to keep you from spreading it around. That doesn’t matter. All that matters is that you go out and fuck right now.
BEEP! An irritating tone from your Codex interrupts your thoughts. "Alert! Infection detected! Preliminary scans identify a variant of Furpies Simplex {C/D/H} in your bloodstream, an artificial pathogen developed by Doctor Badger. Your enhanced immune system should prevent contagious infection, but removal will require the assistance of a medical installation."

With regards to Syri's unskippable sex scenes, both of those require you to have already agreed to be fuckbuddies with her, so they're under the assumption that you're okay to have sex with her again.

That would be why I don't recall seeing that text. I get SSTD Immunity immediately on Tarkus. The phrasing explains why I didn't find it when searching for 'disease' on the GitHub.

The context is that you can't skip the scenes if you're infected with an SSTD. It's more excusable if you can't spread the disease anyway. That said, It might be a little weird to have sex with a partner that's actively changing during sex (Furpies/Sneezing Tits).

Thank you, that's exactly what I asked.

Exactly! Although I still see sexual contacts in a sick state as something wrong ...
