Hello world!


So after reading the Google docs about how to structure submittions, I'd figure I'd give it ago since I have several non-smutty ideas bouncing about. Though before I hit Google docs, I'd figure I would run these ideas here to see if they are utter sue trash.


The first is a few tiny events (and I do mean tiny, a few one-off scenes with Anno, and one with Tanis would be the extent of it) to expand archery. This is the gateway to everything else here.


This would end with either 7 new potential skills or accessories, 3 new bows,


The idea I had for skills/accessories was specialized arrows similar to Concussive shot. Though I wasn't certain if it would be better to have them as a permanent perk... or as an equippable accessory that would just change your base arrow type. 


(Arrows would be: Bonus against mechanical enemies, bonus against armor, Lust damage over time, weak multi target, weak multishot [same target], elemental, "energy dump" shot [expend all remaining energy for one single attack, become winded afterwards])


For the bows. There would be 3, each based on each class. They would all gain a bonus based on your class's primary stat (STR for merc, REF for smuggler, INT for last)  and be unique to that class. The smuggler would be locked out from the other two bows and vice versa.


Having part of the damage calculation come from the player's main stat mean that this weapon can potentially rema in viable as new guns and melee weapons are released down the line. Because the weapon would "level up" with you, it will initially seem WEAKER than other options in the game. And it will ALWAYS be weak on players that have balanced point builds.


Acquisition is simple. It requires that Anno be a follower, that Tanis's bow training be completed fully, and Tanis's bow was used at least in 25 combats. 


Afterwards there would be an event on the Ship were Anno asked about your preference weapon, leading to the discussion of a more modern version of it being created.


The bow would cost a sum to research, and would be given based on your class (stats would vary slightly depending on her employer)


Anno would then have 4 arrow variants for sale (2 max per player, the selection varies depending on her employer).


The last arrow for the player will be an idea Tanis had (chose 1 of 3. Tanis' selection is static).


At the end of the aquisition path, you'd have the chance for alignment points if you decide to gift Tanis a custom bow (a copy of the players) for free, at a discount, or not free at all (force him to pay out of pocket)


And thats pretty much the extent of everything. I whole heartily welcome feedback!

I'm not sure I approve, chiefly because right now only bows have a special attack while other weapon types don't.  If there was a more robust array of trainers in various weapon types, maybe, but adding more to bows would require nerfing the weapons themselves, which would end up making them worse overall.

So you would be more willing if there was a pistol, rifle, sword, hand to hand, and pole arm trainers to choose from as well?


I'm not sure I can't tackle ALL of them, but doing one or two more weapon categories would be cool too. I would love to see more combat content as well as smut, in the game
