Is the game ever going to be upgraded so you can level up PAST Level 10 so we can get more HP and anything else our characters need to survive against what seem to be bosses with higher levels AND HP than our eternal Level 10 HP200 characters?

It is when your facing certain enemy bosses who have nearly 400+HP and can last LONGER in battle because of it while your 200HP character has a higher chance of losing against the strong bosses no matter what tactics you use.
Depends on your build. By 200 HP, I'm guessing you're playing a Mercenary. What equipment are you using and what perks did you take?
The game is generally pretty easy if you know what you're doing, but null_blank did a level 1 run all the way through Myrellion, but couldn't beat Urbolg to get into Zheng Shi.
As for the thread question, the intended level cap is 20. No telling when they'll increase the cap though. I expect most of us will have enough XP to level all the way to 20 if they'd let us.

Steele can at most times face foes 1 or 2 levels higher. Also, we will most likely get a new level or two around the time of the next planet. I'm going to note this is a very loose guess.
I've never run into a fight besides the Botrhioc that required effort, and even then it's just spamming a different attack.
Also, every single time we get extra levels, people complain about only being able to get to the new cap. It will happen, when it happens.

New levels will come when there's new, higher-level content to support them.

I mean at the end of the day, the game treats you with kid gloves up until you finish Myrellion. At that point, if you can't get past Urbolg it's a not so subtle hint that you are either too low level, poorly geared, poorly spec'd or a horrible combination of the three. If you focus (as in, having your primary damage stat at maximum with respect to your level) on your primary damage stat (Aim for ranged, Str for melee) you should be fine.
Also, silly things I've seen people do: take second shot for melee builds, second attack for range builds: Don't do that: the world hates dilettantes, focus on something and stick to it.

Also, don't feel discouraged when you don't know everything. There is a good amount of things you can learn about the systems in this game. There is a wiki.
Ten -Ton Gym and Ramis. Train that noodle stick body into an Adonis! You don't want some Black Void jerk kicking sand in your face at the beach do you?
Save them stat points for laters (ie when new levels are added, the stat gains are even slower. So build up a reserve now and you won't have to grind later).
Or just max out your sexniess with gear choices. There's only a small handful of enemies that are really lust resistant or immune.

They're all barely 5 feet. She could just pick them all up in her arms and abscond with them. And they have nice dicks, not too small, not too big. As I understand, she likes that. And because they're not afraid of tall people (quite the inverse, actually), they'd certainly impress her!
