Mindwash device vanishes after installation

So I bought the mindwash device from Dr. Badger, installed it on my ship, and it seems to have vanished. I keep looking back at installations, but it's not there.

It adds an option to your Masturbate -> Toys menu while on your ship. I'm not sure how you'd uninstall it, though.
