Melee smuggler doesn't feel good

Smuggler focuses on doing extra damage to blind or stunned targets. However low blow rarely lasts long enough to capitalise on it and flashbang seems to have accuracy based on aim(which is a dump stat since you go strength>reflexes>intellect(to be boosted with galotian core or be left at around 30% of max stats)). Tried using stun weapons and it has the same problem of enemies ending stun sane turn. It finally starts working fine with jetpack skill but that's level 12.

One suggestion would be to make low blow be a tripping skill and make smuggler extra damage work on tripped enemies.

There is a bad feel to weapon progression too but that can be slightly mitigated in mid levels by overleveling and uveto. As for endgame it has dhaal fans>train dungeon claws.

Full disclosure: I haven't yet played a Melee Smuggler, though I keep meaning to.

Enemies shouldn't be ending the Stun from Stun Chance on the same turn, generally. Stun Chance* only works if the attack is doing HP or Lust damage. It won't work against active Shields/Armor. Light Savicite Maul should be very useful for Melee Smugglers against anything that isn't immune to Tease.
*X Chance flags in general.

Flash Grenade does run off Aim, but it favors the user. (75% chance if Aim and target's Reflexes are equal).

Did you max Physique? Low Blow and Stun Chance will be much more reliable.

Personally, I'd consider switching Reflexes and Intelligence. You get such huge passive Evasion bonuses (especially with gear) that Reflexes don't matter as much, and you can escape Grapples just fine with Physique. Sneak Attack gets Int/2. So does Grenade.

I'm assuming you took Can Opener instead of Mag Binders? When I went through the enemy stats, high Defense wasn't very common. With high Sneak Attack damage, you'll largely be ignoring it anyway. Of course, Mag Binders attacks with Reflexes, so that doesn't help if you've been neglecting it.

Don't forget your Ranged slot. Since you aren't attacking with it, you can prioritize Evasion boosts.

There are also ways to train your stats (to the point you can max them all out), but that shouldn't be required.

Melee smuggler is my favorite build. I also don't know what's going on with enemies being unstunned, but I always had success with running a stun chance weapon, a staple of mine has always been the Custom Shock Gear but there are a couple higher damage options available that would also work
