Matiha Quest Loot

Just curious since I'm sorta dumb, but is there any loot in Matiha's tower when you visit it for Matiha Revenge? I was basically lost until I was placed right in front of her and only accomplished fighting her enthralled minion, so I wonder if I miss any sweet loot.

There is one potential item of loot, but it exists as an easter egg with an extremely low probability of proccing and it just gets you 225 electrum when you sell it. For all practical purposes, the rewards of the quest are the things you receive when you complete it. The only reward you get for completing the maze before the game does it for you is the satisfaction of it.

PS. When I say extremely low, I mean it's a one in ten thousand chance of encountering it any time you enter one of the rooms that isn't part of the 'correct' sequence.

Well there's irony. I found it just after asking the question. It's a Gold Coin. A coin made of solid gold that you happened to come across in Matiha’s Fortress in the Ways Between. A massive letter B is stamped into one of the faces of the coin. Being made of gold, it’s sure to fetch a half-decent price!

That room gives 225 rupees.

255 could be a reference to a lot of old games. Numbers like 255 and 65,535 tend to show up a lot in older games since these are the max values for certain types of variables (256 and 65,536 possible values respectively, both powers of 2, numbered 0-255 and 0-65,535).

Typo. B has stated explicitly on Discord that it's meant to reference the room in LttP and that the item sells for 225 electrum.
