Making a Ranger Build work in Khor'Minos

I've been running a Bow-using Thief through most of the game fairly successfully; however, after I finished the Winter City stuff and entered the Undermountain, my damage has fallen off extremely, even when I'm using the secondary-elemental bows like the Gimble Gyre or Beast Killer. Is this just a consequence of being underleveled (I'm level 6 rn), or do bow-focused builds just not really work at this point in the game?

I had a similar problem after they nerfed crit, used to run a Bessy Mauler crit archer. I wonder if most of the skills that give you extra element damage would work on bows. Things like Viv or Agni's skills. I imagine Charge Weapon wouldn't work so your best bet is those element buffs from Agni/Viv/Ryn Ult/Dawnbreak and Blessing from Arona/Ryn. That late in the game you really want buffs to do damage at an appreciable pace.
