Disclaimer: I can't math, and this thread is really me just building a yard for the brain worms to play in. At the end of the day, I'm just an idea guy who'd like to play a psychic succubus.
Honestly thought the Kineticist class would be able to inflict lust damage, or that there'd be some way to have psionics do lust damage. There's a cool interaction with bimbos with psychic powers, so I figured if I just kept throwing shit at the walls maybe it'd unlock. It didn't, by the way, there's no way to beam horny thoughts directly into the brains of my enemies without doing it the old-fashioned way...I think. Still kinda convinced that I just haven't gotten slutty enough on a single psychic character yet. Oh well, time to propose a band-aid fix: the corrupted psyfocus crystal.
-What is it?
It's legally-distinct Lethicite that the player wears on their head or something that causes all the damage their psychic skills do to instead do lust damage.
-How do you get it?
Same way as those other bimbo-based brain-blasting boosts: be a bimbo who is also psychic. The way I imagine it is that the Steel has another dream. One where they remember blasting all sorts of people and making them hurt, realizing that hurting people is a lot less fun than fucking them, and then wondering if there's a way to just...use their powers to make enemies horny instead. As they think, they start frigging themselves to the thought of enemies brought low with lusty waves, and secrete a familiar pink crystal. They wake up and have this neat little gem that they can absorb to have their psychic abilities do lust damage.
-But Dad™, won't this mean things immune to lust damage would be much harder to deal with?
Yeah, probably, but guns are very much a thing that still exists. I haven't played the endgame stuff so if there's any noteworthy cases of this...I'm gonna ignore those because I haven't seen them yet.
-Also doesn't this kind of mean most of the psychic skills would need new flavor text, at least
Yeah, but at the same time Ditz Speech also kind of only shows up occasionally enough to remember it exists. This would probably be a lot easier to rewrite, just slapping new names on and retooling descriptions, but I'm probably wrong about that.
