It is, but me and RanmaChan have been playing around with that in various threads where we bump into each other, and I guess Ormael doesn't know about or didn't remember Ranma 1/2 well enough.
I wasn't sure if Ormael didn't get the joke because their first language is not English, and Onyx covered the other bases for potentially not understanding it.

Agreed. I can't really say it has aged gracefully, but an anime fan will still be able to derive some enjoyment out of it.

Hey. Ranma 1/2 is my favourite anime, but I can still say that some of it hasn't aged all that well. Maybe I should have phrased that better in my original post.
I have watched Serial Experiments: Lain. It was an extremely good, very thought provoking anime that I thoroughly enjoyed.
