Hello, everyone, I'm looking to put together a small group of two or three players for a little bit of roleplaying in everyone's favorite corrupted alternate dimension, Mareth. The game will begin  five years after the events of Corruption of Champions, with the authorities of the human world finally getting wind of what's going on in some of the more remote villages of the kingdom, and so begin looking for adventurers to look into it. As the game will be starting in the human world, any characters will be starting off as pure humans. Characters with strong moral fiber would be preferable to a bunch of fence-walkers, but feel free to make up anything that suits your fancy and we'll find a way to make it work. As for game mechanics, we will be using the Dungeon World game system, which can be found at dungeonworldsrd.com. It's a pretty simple rule system that works really well for narration. We will be on the honor system for people's roles, as I am not too worried about people fudging their dice. After all, loosing was always half the fun in Corruption of Champions.

So, if this piques anyone's interest, feel free to post a character idea below, along with any questions and concerns, and I will PM the ones that look best for the story I'm planning. It should go without saying that this will be an erotic role-play, but here is a disclaimer, just in case. Expect to encounter any of the fetishes that you would while playing Corruption of Champions, but feel free to list particular turn-ons with your character ideas. Hope to hear from some people, and thank you for your time.

Hello there Ecnalab. I am rather interested in this idea as CoC is one of my favorite games. Got a few questions thought. First, can you start as a herm character so long as you are human? Second, do you have any more information on the Dungeon World game system? I followed the site you gave but all I get is a blank page with a fire background on it...nothing else.

Hello Floozer. I would be willing to let you start as a herm/futanari if you play as a spell caster of some sort; say that it's the result of some magical accident, or curse of some god or another. Otherwise, I'm going to have to say stick to monogender characters for now. And the fire site thing happened to me to when I tried to make a link in my first post, I don't know what's up with that. Just google dungeon world srd, that should get you there. If not, then let me know and I'll PM you the gist of the rules and we'll go from there.

Don't worry, Dungeon World is an easy system to learn, just about everything you might want to do will boil down to 2d6 plus an ability modifier. Beyond that, it's almost entirely narrative.

If I can be a ninja/sneak-thief, I wouldn't mind throwing together a grey-area guy (stealing for survival/helping others). Looking over the rules and such as we speak.

Castella Grimwaltz, a female herm cleric. She worships the moon and believes that her extra add-ons are a trial from the goddess for one purpose or another. She would be Chaotic Good, believing that the good thing is the right course of actions even if the laws might say other wise. She is something of a support tank, being decent with a kite shield and simple mace. Her real power lies in her faith spells that give buffs to herself and others, while also having some offence against evil and undead beings.

Alexander Verninac, Alex for short, a trap paladin. Having always been effeminate, Alex embraced it, dressing and taking on the identity of a woman. During her time as an initiate of the order, Alex's "eccentricities" earned the ire of more than a few individuals within the order, and although she made friends, advancing was made difficult, as those who disliked her put obstacles in the way. Having finally achieved full membership in the order, she is overjoyed to have been chosen for this quest, hoping to show those who dislike her that she is more than capable.

Shivri Stifren, a male thief. A guy who grew up in the slums of the towns with little beyond a basic education and street-smarts to guide him. While younger, he was far more worried about sneaking around. After being caught and spending time in a prison, he left and became a more common sort of assassin-esque criminal, stealing or hurting people who deserved it or were big enough marks that he had no reason to ignore them. As he grew older, though, this meant that he grew more professional and became more of the "Robin Hood" type. As such, he was a common choice to help out the common folk... even if it was done so rather unwillingly.

Just copy paste your description here if you like, but be sure to cook up a character class for them.

Mia Bahkald, a female fighter. She spent much of her young life in a small village on the edge of the kingdoms borders with her family, her father was training her to be a blacksmith and take over the family buisness when she was conscripted into the army at the age of 18. She enjoyed it at first and showed an immediate talent for the sword, rapidly rising through the ranks and eventually becoming a knight. However, when she and a few fellow soldiers were left for dead after a failed raid on a stronghold belonging to enemies of the kingdom, she had to fight her way out, losing all of her allies in the process.

She arrived in the capital a few weeks later bloodied and battered, quit the army and returned home, hoping to work under her father as a blacksmith and lead a quiet life. But in the time she has been away her father was taken ill and she is still too inexperienced to run the forge, so she has been forced into this mission by a country she holds no love for in order to pay for her fathers expensive healthcare and to feed her ageing parents.

EDIT: appearence and stuff

She has a toned build with some curves and a hint of muscle, she stands at a slightly above average height with long, apple red hair that reaches her middle back. She has normal green eyes and a pretty face, not extremely feminine but with nice soft features and fair skin. Her chest is average sized with two C cup breasts and her ass is normal with long toned legs. A long scar runs diagonally from her right shoulder blade to her trim waist, stopping before it would go around the side of her body, it was sustained during her escape from an enemy fort and although she could get it removed with magic she keeps it as a reminder of those she lost.

She wears a set of tough steel scale armour, a gift from her father that she keeps in top condition constantly. She also has her named sword, brisingr, given to her when she joined the knights order, it is a gleaming longsword with a high quality finish and is exceptionally sharp. According to legend, brisingr was forged in the fires of a dragon, wielded by several other decorated knights in ages past it has a long history.

Although she has long since left the knights order she still retains their teachings about honor and chivalry, prefering to take her enemies on in a fair fight. She is lawful neutral, often seeming cold and uncaring towards people because of her past trauma but she still helps those in need and can open up to those close to her.

Lazarus Runefang is a male mercenary, a man who lives in the shadows, selling his swords to the highest bidder. He was pulled off the streets as a nameless orphan and raised in a society of killers, The Runefang Brotherhood, the deadliest mercenaries in the kingdom. All the members of the Order take the name of the order as their last. Lazarus was raised to be an emotionless killing machine, the perfect weapon, as was every member of the Runefang Brotherhood, in a world of kill or be killed. He rose to be one of the best fighters the Brotherhood had. He knows a few dark magics, but is not very proficient with them as he had studied melee combat and prefers not to use them.

Lazarus is a man of average height, wearing an armor of studded, hard, flexible black leather. A metal mask shaped like a wolf's snarling fangs covers the lower half of his face. His hair is dyed purple, and is cropped short. His eyes are steel gray and dart about with careful curiosity. He has two swords strapped to his back with the hilts protruding over his shoulders. He is a Chaotic Neutral, believing that good will triumph, but if it must, it must through whatever means. To him, the end justifies the means.

Class: Fighter

Looks like you got way more than the 2-3 you were originally looking for. It's nice to see a healthy RP community, still.

The RP Community on the forums is totally healthy. Just to see how many/which ones he takes along.

Hey, what kingdom sends only 2-3 adventurers to a demon infested realm? That's suicide! :p

<< What if one of them has no life? :p

Kidding. :D I have role played before. I'm used to the plot twists and surprises my GM springs on me. :)  Plus I know all the rules and stuff, so this GM doesn't have to explain it all over again.

Elliana Quinta is a Ranger, and she's found herself a job as a tracker, hunter and scout. Partly, it was because her natural curiousity and wanderlust was a great set of skills for such occupations, but mostly because she would otherwise be too much trouble around town, with her poking her nose into everyone's business and causing many old secrets to come to light. Sending her beyond the portal to further her exploration seemed like a logical choice, if not a practical one to get rid of her... hopefully for good. But hey, Mareth is but a new frontier for her, and boy does she want the challenge. And if what lies beyond those gates are coming to disturb her and hers, well then they're practically begging for her to come.

When a situation does involve fighting, she prefers having distance between her and her enemies, using ranged weapons such as bows, crossbows or similar implements to disable her opponents from afar. She wears little to no armour, a few reinforcing scraps of leather around strategic areas, at most. She's below average in height, maybe 5'5, and has a slender, unimpressive build with little bust or butt. Atop her head, she has a unkempt mess of brownish red hair, aswell as a generally tanned complexion, with freckles dotting her face, neck and upper back. She has a particular love of animals, especially those she meets in the wild, but isn't a hermit, preferring fewer, closer friends.

Thank you, everyone for your contributions. I had no idea I'd get this many submissions so quickly, and they're all good characters, but I believe I've found the ones that would work best for the story I have in mind, and will be PMing them shortly. I will definitely keep the rest of you in mind though if something should happen and we need a new player.
