Based on the proposal, I do think it would be best if the player never actually becomes a slave without it being a bad end. As frost pointed out, it would be better to make a game focused entirely on the kink of being a slave rather than including it as a side thing in another game. A better way to think of the game might be as an Elder Scrolls style thing or similar to the Tower Girls games. You travel the world, doing what you want, while getting reputation with the various factions, and forming relationships with NPCs until some sort of end game happens.

Too bad I am a shitty writer, otherwise I would certainly work on creation of the slave in a hermaphrodite city simulator. There is one (futadomworld) game that sounds similar, but it's just dating sym, which results in having most of the sex action only close to the end and focus mostly on romance without attention on kinks, training etc. Only can hope that someone will start doing something even slightly similar to that and back that up by donation, or try to help with programming if this will be doable with my beginner skills.

It eludes me how Slavery seems to be the only thing game creators can think of for Dom/Sub relationships.

It makes sense, why people most of the time playing these games? To try to virtually relieve their fantasies and many of them are not possible in current society or even not real at all. You can experience romantic sub/dom relationship if you manage to find someone interested into it, you can have hardcore sessions. But some things, in the end you don't want to happen in real life, even if this makes you hard, things like slavery, uncontrollable tranformations, permanent physical and mental consequences etc. Even if you imagine how hot and awesome this is, in routine life you certainly don't want it, unless you will dream up a perfect world for yourself. And thats the reason why games are awesome in this situation and why they choose things like slavery, even tho this topic was mostly covered from dom's perspective, despite the demand for this kind of game.

Having a risque romance with your university teacher or boss in an office job; an affair with an influential and dominant business woman, or to move into fantasy we might worship an actual goddess or we actually serve a princess/queen etc. etc. etc. - there is rich opportunities for situations that are extraordinary that you don't get the chance to act on in real life, yet these areas are so barren and unused in games, it's really annoying. Sorry that violation of consent isn't sexy to me.

I was talking mostly about regular dating sims that are trying to copy real life, which I thought you was talking about, not fantasy, goddeses etc, it's actually right what I was talking about, things that cant happen in real life.

We're not finished yet but would love to hear your feedback / ALPHA testing if you're interested www.cupboardslaves.com

It's a lesbian slave Role Playing Game (RPG) through which we want to explore, develop and play with the idea of lesbian sex, domination and power play with as much input from the world (that means you) as possible. We are building the story, game mechanics and objectives from our primary concept of Subrina working for The Fortress as a submissive lesbian slave.

There's also other factors as well, such as the form the femdom takes and what level of power the player has even then. For example, I prefer femdom when there's the possibility of the player also being dominant, since I'm a switch. However, I don't like content that demeans any of the people involved. So I like powerful women that may be better in some way than men, but the men shouldn't be completely helpless or total subs either. I don't want to be pathetic or weak and I don't want my partners to be pathetic or weak. Maybe the option of role reversal is a better description of what I want than what a lot of people call femdom?

Different people are going to like different takes on the fetish and have their preferences within that kink. So even when deciding that you're going to work on a game that's in a smaller pool, you should also consider the games within that pool as well. If one particular version of the kink is extremely prevalent, you might not be able to do as well by making a variation of the kink that isn't well represented. It means you're doing something new and fresh, without the risk of being a lesser version of another game. Of course, there's also the chance that the particular version of the kink you go with has almost no one who's interested in it, so there's some give and take.
Yeah, I don't like demeaning content in general, which is almost antithetical to porn since a vanilla current running through so much of it is a demean-the-woman or a reversal of that to demean-the-man aspect. Even as a horny teenager I ended up getting into text erotica just because there was more variety to it. There's nothing more boring than seeing another banal 'dude mc fucks a bunch of sluts' porn fantasy or 'girl mc gets fucked and corrupted till she's a braindead slut' version of the same thing but the shadow of these, where the eroticism is about the shame associated with failing those same fantasies (shame-based femdom for example) are just as bad.

In my eyes the appeal of femdom is in having a woman with a strong personality who knows what she wants pull the other character in - things like whether she's "on top" or not, whether she's the perspective character or not aren't as important - not for her to degrade the guy for not being ~enough of a man~.
