Looking for a game.

I haven't heard much about it lately, but there was a text porn game that was rather fun.
I remember you start off at some sort of crash site, or a pod.
In character creation you can choose male/female/herm.
On the right of the screen you can view your character, with their current gear equipped.
You can travel across a map from the starting area through a forest in the center.
While traveling through the forest you can fight a wolf, and have a chance of meeting a advertisement event.
Slightly north is a town with a sewer quest you do with a guard.
In the sewer is an arachne, and bandits with their leader.
North of the town is an ocean, to the left are satyr/druid caves.
To the right are caves of feminity, and I believe a campsite of an NPC?
Past the ocean is an island city.

This is all I remember.

so I downloaded the game from the above link and then started it up. when I clicked "new game" it asked me 2 questions and then said "scene loading" then 30 minutes later nothing had changed. how do I fix this?

It looks like they last uploaded a bugged version of the game.
It wouldn't work for me either sadly.
So unless you can get one of the devs to fix the bug, I guess playing Tide is impossible?
I'm rather depressed about it actually...

Out of curiosity, did you try the ".swf file" version?
I tried the versions available and get the same issue of it not working.
From the looks of it 5th is having the same issues as me.

Hopefully you aren't just speaking facts that are without research?
Being sure your information is accurate tends to help more than just spout something out of the tip of your tongue you know.

Edit: Of course if the issues are only on our end, then that would help as well.
Since we would know it is a problem with our settings, and not the game.

They gave up on working on it like 3 years ago, because they thought it would take too much time

I've got an old build and that doesn't work either so it must have 'called home' even in the offline version.

Damn. That was a fun game. I tried their other project Venture Seas and it's a decent game, but so damn buggy I dropped my support until it isn't further on or completed

I ran into the same problem. You can't play it through your browser, but you can play it with the standalone flash player.

You can download it here. Scroll down and look under "Flash Player 25 Beta Standalone."

It's a shame the game isn't being developed anymore, because what is there is pretty good.
