I know that there are plans for PC being able to go to Tychris, after all the khor Minos stuff, in the future, but will PC be able to visit/travel to other regions/settlements/big cities in future patches??

We don't have detailed information on what's next after KM (just a rough outline) but we do know that the Champ is not going to be traveling outside of the Frost Marches or its immediate neighbors so once Tychris is implemented we'll have seen all the large settlements in the region.
