I booted up the app just like normal, hit Load Game, and lo, the very first save slot is tumbleweed central. Would've had a panic attack if I didn't have my recent-ish backup filesave. Is there anything that could've possibly caused such a heinous spook??

If you cleared your history, were playing in incognito mode, ran any "cleanup" software, or your system is low on storage space.
