What happens if you hand over the amulet to the fox people with out ever having sex with Kiyoko, could you still recruit her or does she leave the game, and I heard handing over the amulet was rewritten to be kinder to the player, uhh which parts were rewritten, and can anybody wouldn't mind giving me a bit more context about this???

Handing it over before Kinu's birth will lock you out of interacting with Kiyoko, let alone recruiting her. And IIRC, the rewritten bit was the scene where you give the amulet to Keros, which was originally written in a way that was more critical and less understanding - effectively berating the Champ/player for not wanting to engage with her content, which does not fit well with the design ethos of a game that's all about giving the player agency over which content they engage with. This was before magicocks were an option, mind you, so it hit even harder for those who simply don't want to grow a cock.
If you mean the forest kitsune band (the one on the old forest, not the one on the frostwoods), then they just explain to you basically what Kiyoko does one of the first times you enter her realm, except they also point you towards the kurokawa den at the other side of the river. Giving the amulet to the kitsune at the den, however, effectively locks you out of further Kiyoko content, unless Kinu has already been born at this point
